The cross is exactly as described.I can use it on my lapel or as a tie tack.I can pin it on my lapel and still pin the American flag next to it without both pins overpowering the lapel.

This is a really nice, high quality pin. The shaft is long enough to use for just about any purpose, including as a tie pin. We use these on our church bags for our music and hymnal books. The pin is so well made, that I may buy some more in the future as gifts.

Better quality than shown on the picture but a lot smaller

Nice pin. Seemed a little small. Thought it would be a little larger. Great for a lapel or tie. I do like the pin.
