Well Written
I am neither a scientist nor a mathematician, so I was happily surprised to see this book. It is well-written and fully explains starlight in a way that an amateur astronomer such as I can easily understand. My main focus in my hobby is solar observation, and this book filled in a lot of gaps for me regarding our sun and other types of stars. If you are interested in starlight and spectroscopy but don't like a lot of formulas as explanations, get this book.

A great jumping off point for astrochemistry and stellar spectroscopy.
I used this as a contribution to my undergraduate research, along with the rest of this series of books... Keith does an excellent job of wrapping up the necessities of astrochemistry and I am thankful I found this book as well as the others. If you need a quick brush up or you are a beginner, this is an excellent read.
