A great interdisciplinary exploration of the role software plays in producing spatiality
I am an academic who studies various mobile technologies from a spatial perspective. Kitchin and Dodge's concept of "code/space" has now becomea key part of the theoretical framework I use in my work. Their book does an excellent drop drawing from concepts in human geoegraphy and software studies to show how software of various types is helping produce our space differently.I think this is essential reading for anyone interested in the interrelationship between technology and physical space.
