I purchased this battery to use in a Black and Decker lightweight strimmer that came with a 2 Ah battery which I found didn't last long enough. The original battery was supposedly 18 volts and this one is supposed to be 20 volts but it works perfectly well and provides a lot more power.

The battery charges up for about 1 hour then the (Black and Decker) charger starts flashing red and charging stops. Battery than gives me about 15 mins of life. Very disappointed with it.The B&D supplied battery works fine, so I have since purchased a (far more expensive) B&D original battery with works absolutely fine.

Works perfectly with Black and Decker 18V cordless drills, drivers etc. using this style of battery.UPDATE 1: Only 3 months after purchase and battery will no longer charge. Disappointed.UPDATE 2: Communicated with seller and received a replacement battery by courier within 2 days. No quibbles and exemplary service from them.

Battery is awful. Failed after six weeks - right in the middle of a kitchen refit - item won't charge anymore. AVOID.

Did the job with no issues

Battery used to replace very old dead battery. Great that it is possible to obtain replacements on Black and Decker products.
