MarvelLegends Infinite Series Wasp

Janet Van Dyne, known as the Wasp, is founding member of the Avengers and occasionally partner of Ant-Man and/or Giant Man. Hasbro did a nice job with this 6" Wasp figure. They choose one of the Wasp's more modern, and more popular, outfits. I really like the simple mechanics used for the wings. The only issue is that this figure is known to have some issues with the paint quality on the face, especially the eyes.

I am probably one of the few people that consider the Wasp one of their favorite Marvel characters. After waiting years (decades) for a good Wasp figure, I was really pleased with this version. I am just happy to have this character show up in the Marvel Legends line. Now if they would only get Mantis and Moon Dragon into the Legends line, that would be tops!

First off you have Ultron's torso so that is a good inclusion as the end result is great.Next, the Wasp figure is excellent. The wings are large, translucent and almost seem like they will glow (don't in dark but maybe with black light). Well made, good paint job. Totally worth having.

This figure is great! Definitely better than the toy biz version. A few minor paint splotches but overall didn't really bother me. Legs are really flimsy and hard to stand but that's hasbro a fault not the sellers. Overall great product definitely should buy if you want it! 👍

This Marvel Legends Infinite Series Antman series figure of The Wasp was a marked improvement over the prior attempt. Fans of the comics and old school Avengers fans will want this figure because The Wasp was one of the founding five Avengers. This version of the Janet Van Dynne Modern era Wasp has a much better facial sculpt than the prior version offered by the original Marvel Legends. The paint job on the costume is a metallic yellow paint for most of the torso and black for the rest. However, the inside of the hands are painted with the same metallic yellow paint. The wings are translucent and have vein-like detailing with a yellowish tinting. All in all this is a very comic accurate rendering of The Wasp, however I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because Marvel Legends could have put in some kind of effect to show The Wasp's signature comics attack "the wasp sting".

I really like this figure. But then Wasp has always been one of my favorite characters, so I'm biased. But it is a really nice looking figure. So, many figures have ugly face sculpts, but not this one - it really well done.

generally I don't say this but I advise all of you please don't buy this item. Unless you want the body part of Ultron then so be it. Otherwise don't its not worth it at all, this new version of Wasp here does not stand and even with a stand platform it still will not stand properly. With the wings on its worse without the wings you can bearly get Wasp to stand still a gentle breeze or tap and still it falls over. The knees are somewhat weak her feet are poorly made. The pose I can get Wasp is on her knees and that's it! I suggest if you want Wasp buy the original from Marvel Legends made by ToyBiz World Wide I know those figures are expensive. Now the Wasp you might purchase might work fine for you but my view is it isn't worth it. Now Ultron works just fine you can put him in any pose and he works fine.

Purchased as a cheap "life-like" model for illustration. Bug theme a bonus. Used a clear plastic stand (found elsewhere on Amazon) that allows for perfect positioning. Very happy.
