Travelpro Women's Maxlite 5 Laptop Backpack, Slate Green, Carry-on 15-Inch

I’m so happy about this purchase! I’ve always loved the Travelpro brand and was super excited when I found out they made backpacks as well. I was looking for a reasonably sized backpack for work. Especially, something that could fit my work laptop and where I can easily organize my things for fast accessibility. The bag is made of great quality with a very chic look. It fits my laptop just right since it’s on the smaller side of 14”. I like that even if it’s filled with many items that it does not look bulky on me. The straps will take some getting used to since it’s not a traditional strap that is pulled to adjust. The strap is looped in and adjusted in a circular motion. I absolutely love this backpack and can see myself using it for travel as well.

I purchased the Travelpro backpack to go with my Travelpro carry-on and luggage. The backpack is light weight. The zippers are sturdy and zip securely. The big pouch fits my kindle 10, a book, and a magazine without too much bulk. The smaller pouch is good for light items like a small wallet or keys. I also like that this back pack has a secure, sewn on fabric to slip on to my luggage handles when I do not want to use it.Definitely a cute little backpack and worth the cost for its value. It is a durable, light weight backpack. The pink color in the photo is what you will get. It is also close to the same price as offered on Travelpro website. Amazon gets it here quicker because it is a prime item.

Well worth the money. Simple, beautiful, and very practical. All the small pockets are very useful and there is plenty of space in the main compartment. It looks small but it’s very spacious in the inside.

Edited to say I figured out how to fasten the adjustable straps so they stay. Take the loop of fabric on the bottom section of the strap and squeeze it (it takes some effort and bending of the strap) around the bottom of the buckle. Mine stays adjusted now and takes the bag from 3 to 5 stars.Great bag except the adjustable straps very quickly loosen and then you’ve got a backpack on your butt instead of on your back. Has anyone figured out a solution to this?

I like Travelpro products but this one I didn’t. I base this review on my experience using it on a two week trip where I was moving by plane and train a lot. The straps are so uncomfortable, sized for a child imo with little padding, square slider buckles have corners that dig into you (I had to put a padded wrap on them), and the bottle pockets don’t have any elastic or grip (yes I almost plunked someone on the head sitting under the overhead bin when I got my bag down and a full water bottle came shooting out). Luggage handles (even from matching Travelpro bags) do not slide through the back strap very easily. If the backpack is more than half full it was a two person job to accomplish even with a flat iPad in the back pocket. On the good side, the bag seems durable and is well organized. Probably better for small people.

Love this small backpack for everyday use and traveling; I purchased it to go with the TravelPro rollaboard bag (which I love!).Two small things that I wish they'd improve on:1. The shoulder straps don't stay at the length where I set them -- they gradually get longer and longer as the little metal piece slides down the strap, so I have to readjust them at least every other day :-/ It would be helpful to have some way of securing them at the length that works best for the person wearing the backpack.2. The piece in the back that slides over the suitcase handle (so you can stack them) is BARELY big enough to get the handle through, and if you have anything at all in the rear compartment of the backpack, it's a real struggle to get the backpack onto the suitcase. The "stack-ability" was the main reason I purchased the backpack, but I almost never do stack them because it's so hard to get the backpack on. Just another half-inch or so would make all the difference!

This is perfect for traveling!! very lightweight

I chose this bag for an international trip because I needed a more lightweight travel bag that still fit over the handle of my wheeled suitcase. This bag fit easily under the airline seat in front of me. I still wished this bag's handle could be extended and that it had little wheels after I checked in my suitcase. My shoulders are narrow and although I carried a kindle and a diary, it was still not lightweight. I believe it weighed about 11 pounds, but my big laptop bag weighed more.

This bag is small for a travel bag. If you want a small bag it's perfect. I need a little more room when I'm traveling for a sweater, noise canceling headphones, water bottle, etc and I just didn't think this would work. Quality seems good so if it's the right size for you, you will love it.
