I use this scale for making bread, I have used it for over two years, before I ordered it I read the reviews and noticed a problem with the scale, but the return policy was so good that I took a chance, my work history gave me an advantage, I worked in R&D in electronics, and the problem that was complained the most about the product was inconsistency, I thought possible the problem was electrostatic. Upon receiving my scale I gave it a checkout and sure enough the scale locked up and I had to power it down and start over, and again after a time it locked up, the fix was simple, the plate on top of the scale that you place whatever you are going weight rest on four rubber pads, this insulates the top plate from the electronics below, I simple took some aluminum foil crumpled it up and placed it below the plate so that it made contact with the two screws that secure the frame with the four rubber pads on it to the electronics below. This grounded the plate above to the electronics below eliminating the electrostatic problem. The only other problem I have had is with the connector that connects the power supply to the scale, they used a cheap audio connector which I will fix when I get around to it. This scale is a true bargain, where can you find a scale that will weigh something that is 10 kilograms +/- 0.1 grams for this price?

Bought this balance to weigh out vegetable and mushroom produce for our backyard gardens. Haven't used the battery operated option, but relied instead on line power. The tare function really speeds up our work. The top is removable for cleaning, and the keypad is easy to keep clean too.

I bought this for a kitchen scale. I am a chemist and I just was never happy with typical kitchen scales. This works great. My one issue is that it would be nice if it had an automatic shut down that would turn it off after a few minutes of not being used. I can't hold this against the device because it says it is a laboratory scale and if I were using it in a Lab I would be very annoyed if it turned itself off.

I bought this scale because I make homemade dog food. Now those of you who do so, know that the weight of the ingredients have to be accurate. Welp, today this thing decided to lose it's mind. The tare weight is wildly fluctuating between 0.3 and 1.5 gms. Of course the replacement window closed May 22 so I now have an expensive paperweight. And only enough dog food to last until Tuesday. I bought it in Nov. 2021. I see others have had the same problem.

Bought in July. Since October it is a race every day to see if I can get the weight before the tare number starts increasing as I’m starting to weigh the food. Return policy should be a year for such a product. Quality of electronics is very low even though scale is good size. Seller has said they will replace. I will update when received

I lost the power cord and it takes batteries! Pretty cool that have that feature.

This was great when I first got it. Very accurate. I put it away for a couple months - carefully stored in the box and packing it came in. When I took it out recently it wasn’t accurate anymore. The directions do not make sense- and no way to contact anyone for assistance if you didn’t register it within a week of purchase- which I didn’t do. Useless now. Don’t buy it or any of their other products

This product appears and functions as it could have come from any major laboratory supply company. Sturdy and accurate.
