Had them for 6 months now.
I have had these for 6 months now. First I had them drop from 100% to almost 0% in just 2 days.As I had with phones, it seems that it needed to train for the battery to be seen ok. So I drained them until they were dead and then kept them for more than 24 hours charging. Now they seem to keep the charge for the time I need them. I want solar panels to charge them as this would make more sense. And also the distance from the WiFi is a hassle. They can not be far from the access point.

Do not buy any Ezviz security cameras
There is a massive lag with any Ezviz camera sometimes even up to 2 hours. The manuals are useless with very poor instructions which does not make any sense. The support responds to your call or email but they do not have a clue about their products. I have trying to solve my installation problems for 3 months now and no solution so far and every time they just email me same manual again and again which is just utter annoying. Don't buy any Ezviz products or else you will regret it later.

Certainly is EZ to setup and use!
The first thing to note is that I did not receive the product described. I received just one camera, and no base station. This being rh case, I can’t review the base station or a two-camera system. The camera is a small and neat object, with sync button on the top. Its IP65 credentials seem fine, as openings and switches do seem to be protected against water, meaning things like rainfall. The camera is easy to set up. You’ll need a Wi-Fi router, and a phone to run the app. I had no difficulty setting it up. There are plenty of options in the software, all of which have some help available for them. Once set up, the camera recorded good quality video in daylight and night environments, and records video as triggered by the PIR.I should express an interest here. I used to work in CCTV applications for secure sites such as prisons, airports, casinos (yes, casinos are very heavy users of CCTV) and so on, so I am familiar with CCTV at serious levels of sophistication. This system from Ezviz is very basic, which I would expect from a home system at this price range, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Video recording can be immensely complicated, far beyond that which a home user should need to know; so yes, it is kept simple. That said, I am impressed with their other offerings, which do offer some much more sophisticated features. I would recommend having a look at their Ezviz Studio package, and their network video recorders.I have reviewed many CCTV and similar packages over the years, from home CCTV to baby monitors and webcams. Many look terrific value, but then they hammer you by locking you into a pricey cloud-based storage service. Well, you get that here too, but you do get a lot more than I’ve seen on other services. Here, you pay £9.99 per month or £99 annually for 30-day storage per camera. Yes, that’s per camera, which obviously adds up. I’d like to see just one company offer the option to use my own cloud storage service if I want. That said, Ezviz does offer storage designed for CCTV video, with what it claims to be high level encryption. I couldn’t find details of just what security they are offering, and nor could I find out what encryption their CCTV software uses. Is it AES, Kuznyechik-Twofish, Serpent, a combo or others, or what? What key size are we using here? Saying it’s secure is not really good enough.Overall, I really like this camera. It is easy to set up, and easy to use. Being wireless and with a battery that lasts ages, it’s also very easy to install on an outside wall. Alas, I didn’t get to try the base station in the review package I received, which looks like being essential. I’d certainly look at getting the base station with this camera.

Poor Battery Life
Before purchasing I read reviews and had concerns that too many said the battery life wasn't good, but I decided to buy it anyway. But my experience of using the 2 Ezviz C3A Outdoor Cameras for a few months now, has been that the battery life is very poor, lasting just 2 weeks in an area that there isn't lots of daily movement, and when I tried using the cameras without the Hub the battery just lasted 3 days. Also, the sound hasn't been good enough for background noise like birds and cars, can't make out what the sounds are, whereas I have 2 other battery powered outdoor cameras that I can clearly hear what types of background sounds that can be heard.
