Bits Kits Stainless Steel Bento Box Lunch and Snack Container, 4 Sections

My son had the LunchBots Small Protein Packer for his snacks at school. It’s great! But it’s also $20 for a tiny little container. I really liked the concept of that and went on the hunt for something more cost effective for myself to make pre packed grab and go snack/meals. I didn’t want plastic gussets or anything that was going to be difficult to clean or attract mold over time. I found this product as an alternative but I was a little weary based on reviews. It was almost half the price of the LunchBots so I decided to give it a go and ordered two. It came quickly and I was surprised at how much I absolutely LOVE this little stainless box! It’s bigger than the LunchBot and the lid definitely doesn’t snap on quite as tight but I’m not playing football with it… so for the quality and price, it is a steal in my eyes. If you are using this as a standalone, I would probably toss a rubber band around it just to be safe. I put nuts and fruit/veggies and maybe cheese or crackers and it has served me really well so far. It is NOT however, intended to hold soups or leaky items. I consider it more as a snack box and not a meal prep Tupperware. Overall, I am super pleased and ordered two more the same week.

I bought 3 different styles of this brand and have been very happy with them. Great value, great quality. Years later and they still don't show signs of rust (i always dishwasher wash them), still close snuggly, compact enough to fit my kids school snacks in their lunchboxes. They are perfect!

Great construction and great size, but the lids do not seal at all, so even minimal fluid/liquids can leak and if you pick it up and only the lid is in your hand, you will loose the bottom half. I use them with rubber bands and am careful to keep them flat.

I love the concept for a reusable stainless sectioned bento box. I pack fresh snacks for my teen son, and I wanted to do a lunchable style snack for him, but don’t like the plastic container. The box is a tad big for my purpose. It only fits sideway in his small lunch box, so I couldn’t pack juicy stuff. My biggest complain would be that one corner of the inside walls stuck up a tad too tall. I’m not sure if this is just a defect for the one box, or if it’s like this for all of them. This makes it extremely difficult to close, and the lid keeps slipping around. Eventually the box still closes all the way, but it’s an unnecessary hassle to have to wrestle with it every single time.

I am using this as a travel case for my shampoo/conditioner/body/face soap bars. Seems high quality (heavy, tight fittinf on lid). I bought cheap soap sponges from Walmart and cut them in half - fit perfectly in each compartment. Only issue I could see for people using it for food is that each compartment is not completely sealed at the bottom, so liquid could get through.

Please donot buy. The build quality is not grate. Size, Value for money is ok. I have opened last night as soon as I received it. The box is not build for kids because the ridges or the seperator in the box is very sharp. The edges of the seperators are sharp which I dont recommend for kids. I bought this for my kid as her snack box. I am now returning it. Please see the video which I gave posted it. I have explained everything for my return. I cannot say anything about functionality and ease of cleaning as I didn't use it. Sending rightaway when I saw that there will be a risk.

I like the size and material of this bento box. It fits well in my kids’ lunchboxes and is a great alternative to plastic. It is easy to clean, durable, and seems to be a product that will last for many years.

A must have for sack lunches.

Very cute. I am glad I bought the lunchbox despite negative reviews. Good size for snacks or kindergarten sized lunch. The lid seems snug but of course not leak proof. I wish the material would be thicker. Good bang for the bucks.

based on the mixed reviews I decided to take a gamble on this bento container, it was not really worth the money. When people write the lid doesn't fit they really meant it, the lid on mine will just fall right off if tipped in any way. It's also a bit on the small side for the price. This was orignally orderd as part of a secret santa gift but didn't arrive in time, I ended up getting a better container at a better price here in town. A large elastic aroung the container keeps the lid on so i'm not going to bother returning it but save yourself the hassel and don't get it...

Lid does not have a snug fit at all. Hold it upside down and it slides right off. Not ideal for a kid’s snack container that they will no doubt spill. I’m keeping it and going to use an elastic to keep it closed, but not impressed with this purchase.
