Excellent mouse at a great price. Works great with Mac
So far I absolutely love this RAPOO mouse! I had never heard of the brand before reading up on it and making this purchase but I'm glad I took a chance on it. I've been using the Microsoft 5000 Bluetooth mouse for several years now and it's been great, but it's had connectivity issues that are annoying at times and the novelty of being a very small mouse wore off. It was time for a change. This RAPOO mouse connected to my MacBook immediately without any additional drivers or steps. I plugged in the nano receiver to my USB port and the mouse was working instantly. It's super smooth and fits my hand perfectly. This RAPOO mouse is a medium-full sized mouse, if that makes sense. It's just a touch smaller than your average full sized mouse. I love the way it feels in my hand. It's like it was tailored to fit and it's such an improvement over the MS 5000 in terms of playing computer games and general comfort. It's sensitivity is better than my previous mouse and I like that it has the adjustable tracking dpi. Being a 5.8GHz mouse is a bonus too since most of my other devices operate in the ~2.4GHz range. This was a great buy. There are so many options too choose from Amazon and believe me, I looked at them all! This one had everything I was looking for at a great price and I'm glad I chose it. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone. I chose the red model because it was considerably lower priced than the other colors for some reason. I paid just under $16 for it I think. It looks stylish. It has two programmable buttons on the side which need additional support to use with the Mac I believe. I only really need them for assigning key bindings with games I play. I've already test that and it works fine. Give it a try, you'll be happy with it.

Poor Scrolling Feature
Not worth the cash. Logitech and Microsoft much better.

Don't use on a desk top PC.
I am very disappointed in this mouse. It freezes so much. I followed every single troubleshooting suggestion and nothing worked. The mouse is literally less than 2 feet away from the little USB receiver. Can't believe I spent this kind of money on this. On a side note it work OK with my laptop only because the mouse is practically side by side with the receiver.. AIn all I'm extremely disappointed. I would love to return it but I know that's not an option. Avoid if you plan on using with a deck top computer.

Picture & title is misleading..
It's a great mouse, but its definitely not red; it's more of a burgundy/purple color. Don't expect to get a true to picture items..

My second Rapoo 7100, and probably not my last!
Great mouse, way better than any of the either trash or overpriced mice available at most retail stores. Has a really solid feel. Its hard to describe but the buttons have an authoritative but easy to engage click that just feels better compared to other brands. Also, i am using it with Debian 8 and it was fully "plug and play" ready, no addtl configuration needed all buttons (even the x-axis wheel tilt side buttons) were mapped and available. Great sensitivity, I do a fair amount of image editing in GIMP and its great at selecting individual pixels or lines. The adjustable dbi button make it even more precise. I also like the 5ghz transceiver. 5ghz might not inherently have the range as 2.4 but with all the other noise crowding the 2.4ghz spectrum I feel the 5ghz actually gets a lot better range and signal quality. I even get smooth operation 10ft away from my dongle when needed. Top it all off with a sexy design and its my favorite mouse now by far.On a side note, my first one did break on me after a year of heavy usage, however I don't feel I need to count off any bc I dropped, spilled food crumbs, and used daily so I don't think it was due to any design flaw

Excellent mouse!
Excellent mouse, I have been using it heavily for 4 months and it's still working just fine. I had a minor issue with the receiver when it was plugged into my USB2 desktop hub, it worked but the mouse position updates were slow and jumpy, however plugging the receiver directly into a spare USB port on the front of my PC fixed this.Functionally it is a direct replacement for the Logitech M510 as it has the same extra buttons and tilt wheel layout. Prior to this I had owned two Logitech M510 mice that developed annoying problems that caused me to try a different brand. Previously I have always stuck with Logitech mice.Update at 1 year - still working great after a year of heavy use, excellent mouse!

BUYER BEWARE
bought my Rapoo 7100P 3 months ago (July, 2017) on Amazon and it has worked great…until now. I noticed erratic functioning appearing and then the key reassignment function stopped functioning. I opened the battery compartment to check the status of the batteries and discovered that one of the original alkaline batteries had leaked. I cleaned up the mess and replaced both batteries, noticing that the batteries were stamped “Best Before 06-2016”, one year prior to my purchase. Battery replacement made no difference. Believe me, I tried everything that could reasonably be done to restore function, but to no avail. I then turned to the website for customer service, only to discover that there is virtually NOTHING THERE, only a brief FAQ link which was unhelpful, no phone number or other contact for technical assistance or warranty claims, just a “support” email address. I sent “support” an email asking for assistance, but received no reply.Over the next 2 days the mouse totally died. I sent another email asking for a replacement or refund, there is a 2-year warranty, including a message that I would not write a negative review with Amazon if this problem were promptly resolved, as I liked the mouse and trust the failure of this one is an anomaly. I received no reply. So, folks, the bottom line is that the mouse is subject to failure (the problem was not the leaking battery, as I finally opened the case and found no evidence of leakage into the interior), and one cannot get any response from the company. If you wish to buy this mouse, you have to hope that it does not break down, as the company has no integrity in standing behind their product--there is no technical assistance, no customer service. Their 2-year warranty is a farce, so they lied about that.
