Classic Travis & Fripp! Sheer beauty!

This is a lovely, understated album. It is in the tradition of the Fripp / Eno Ambient music that we have been either loving or loathing for the past thirty odd years. There is a consistent sound throughout the album with Robert Fripp on guitar and Theo Travis on alto flute and soprano sax.These are two towering talents enjoying playing with a mutual respect. I first really became aware of Theo Travis on the Soft Machine Legacy album Steam where he filled the shoes of the sadly departed Elton Dean in grand style. His solo album, to which Robert Fripp contributed production and some guitar, is excellent.
