Year 99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0L
Great product. Used to replace OEM Bolts & Clips, on a 99 Ford Ranger, that I was doing a frame repair on, that had turned into a seized "cluster cluck".. of a situation. Or FUBAR'd...Anyways, one down side, like other DIY'ers have mentioned, is these require a different "Bit" to install instead of a torx bit, like the OEM had. (Doorman makes some pretty good products normally, but I honestly wish they'd kept it like OEM) b/c I didn't like that surprise when I received this product. So, these are SUPER EASY to install other than the above, as long as you have your bed sitting square, & your frame is straight. You shouldn't have any issues what so ever.A side note. This product, UNLIKE the original OEM bolts/clips, which were a solid unit. These clips just have a nut, inserted into a shim, and its the shape that keeps it locked in place, not a weld, or anything else... So it may be an adventure, if those clips rust up for whatever reason, when you have to remove your bed again. . .That's the only thing that slightly bothered me about this replacement product, vs the OEM...

Replaced T55 bed bolts on 2002 Ford Ranger
I recently had to take the bed off my 2002 Ford Ranger XL to replace the fuel pump and a few of the bolts were in pretty bad shape. I decided to replace all of the bolts with these and they worked nicely. I wish they required a 1/2" driver with a Torx 55 head like the original bolts but instead they require a 3/8" driver with 8mm Hex bit.I used a little bit of white grease on the inside of the locking nuts and around the threads of the bolts to help them go in a bit easier. I used an impact wrench with 55ft/lbs of torque to install after finding an online forum that said Ford specs recommend a minimum 50ft/lbs torque.

A Little Pricey But A Perfect Fit
I needed to replace my gas tank filler tube neck and everything that I read online said that removing the bed was the easiest and best way to go. However, my truck came from a northern state that uses a lot of salt during the winter. The previous owner apparently did not think about rinsing the undercarriage after the winter. Hence, the bed bolts were very rusted and not easily removed. Rather than reusing them, I purchased these new bolts. They worked perfectly. My only complaint is that I wasn't able to find any discount coupons or cheaper listings. Regardless, I am very pleased with the result.

Quality was good but....
I needed 8 bolts to do my sons 2010 Ranger but only got 6. I didn't know how many I needed cause his truck has a bedliner. I thought I was buying the kit for his truck but when I got the liner out it was obvious I was missing a couple. I was able to save a couple of old ones that were in decent shape and use those. That said, if you are pulling out a ten year old bed an want to put it back you need a new bolts. They get pretty nasty after ten years.

Quality still exists!
I recently removed the bed on my Ranger in order to change the fuel pump. Despite soaking the bed bolts in penetrating oil prior to attempting to remove them, four of the six bolts broke. I purchased this Dorman kit, and I was immediately impressed with the parts when they arrived. This hardware is high-quality stuff. Particularly the nuts/retaining clips, which are MUCH heavier duty than the OEM pieces. I have no doubt that these fasteners will hold up far better than the original equipment parts. So, if you're planning to remove the bed on your Ranger, my advice is to order this kit before you even start. You'll be glad you did!

Good fit, requires allen driver NOT torx
These bolts were the right size for my 1995 Ford Ranger and installed easily. The only complaint I have is that they are an allen head vs. the torx head that the factory installed/OEM parts were. Luckily I had a socket already and didn't have to buy one, but I didn't realize this when I purchased them. It has rained several days now and parking on a hill submerges the bolts in water, sometimes for days at a time. They haven't rusted yet so their plating is of reasonable quality.

A must have!
This kit is a necessity when removing the bed. I found that my bolts were very rusted and it is a wonder that I was able to extract them with out breaking them. This kit was very easy to install. I installed on 2000 Ford Ranger and did not find that the long vs short bolt placements mattered from this kit. All of the old bolts were the same size.

Quality
These are FAR better quality than most anything out there. You could tell once I opened the shipping package. Easy to put in.

Perfect fit.
These bed mount hardware fit perfectly for my 2007 Ford Ranger Sport Super Cab 3.0 V6, 2×4.I pulled bed off Ranger and order this hardware to replace the rusted out bolts.Note- fyi- the oem bolts were T55 torx heads. These ones are Allen heads.

Bed Bolts
The set did the job nicely. Bolts were Allen head in stead of original Torx, and plating seemed "lighter". A little pricey considering these differences.
