Nescafé Dolce Gusto Nesquik, 16 Capsules

It explodes inside the coffee machine and stains it a lot.

I love my dulce gusto and most of the pod options. When they came out with the Nesquik pods, I was so excited thinking I might actually be able to recreate a childhood memory using my dulce gusto. Much as I wanted to love it, I couldn't. The taste was just terrible. It has a kind of sour/salty flavor to it with no sweetness at all. I know that Nestle is capable of offering a creamy milkiness with their latte pods but they absolutely did not apply that technology to the nesquik pods. I hope they go back to the drawing board.

I just got a new Gusto machine for Christmas and I am loving it. I have tried so many of the coffee flavors. My family and I was wanting hot cocoa. My grand daughter said this Nesquik was the best kind and she was so right. It is so wonderful. So now I have a new favorite flavor. It is rich and creamy, not too sweet. It has a wonderful chocolate flavor. I will be buying more of this.

While this makes short work of fixing up a cup of hot chocolate and is very tasty, the flavor could be a bit more intense. Considering the additional cost of pod-driven hot beverages, the flavor should really knock you out. Compared to regular Quick hot chocolate, it is a bit creamier and really doesn't need any added milk. It's a nice alternative for my Dolce Gusto machine!
