incredible cleaver!! stupidly sharp. sturdy and lightweight.
I was a little wary of this product, but was impressed with the quality and the sharpness. it looks like its going to be a beast and really heavy, but it beautifully crafted, fits well in the hand and is lightweight and very easy to use. It came really very sharp, sharp enough to finely slice old tomatoes. I'm looking forward to using it more, following recipes from the School of Wok youtube page. Very impressed!!

I already own a Chinese clever. This one especially for the price is excellent value for money.

Lovely knife but take some getting used to!
Coming from a large chef knife I’m used to chopping whilst rocking the knife. I wanted a cleaver with large surface area to aid prepping and throwing into the pan as I go.Issue i have is that the tip of this clever is so sharp and pointy I find myself constantly digging chunks out of my board. It’s making me have to chop by lifting entire knife off which is fine but much slower and less efficient.Overall not a showstopper, it’s a lovely knife to hold, goes in dishwasher and is nice and sharp, but I’ll probably end up blunting the tip so I can chop like I do with the chef knife.

Great little cleaver
Bought this to help prep some spare ribs before cooking them, does the job pretty well. Cuts through bone pretty well. Personally I wish it was a bit heavier, but that's just me. Glad I chose this one. Would recommend.

It's shiny, silver and sharp.
This is a great addition to your kitchen arsenal. It isnt the most expensive cleaver you can get but don't let that put you off. It is a good size and weight and the one thing I really like is no matter how you pick it up from the work top or chopping board it makes the great sound that you hear in films and TV shows. The sound when someone takes a samurai sword out of its cover. I have spent many hours doing this in the kitchen and imagining that I am some sort of knife welding hero fighting off hoards of savage carrots or an army of brocoli or some particular aggressive and dangerous onions. Anyway, yes I am pleased with this purchase and a few months down the road it is still sharp as a politicians accountant.
