Men's Silver Ridge Convertible Pants

Bought these pants for our summer adventures and I've worn them hiking several times as well as just around the house. They have an athletic fit, so they are more form fitting than other pants I own...I wouldn't call them snug or tight, but they sit closer to your skin and move with you. I've not had any issues with chafing while wearing them, and the fabric is slick and a bit stretchy. The legs zip on and off easily and the zippers don't jam. If you're worried about them being snug, I would order one waist size larger. I tried my typical waist size and the next size up, and both felt fine..I settled on the more form fitting version because I liked them just a little bit more. They dry quickly and dirt does not seem to stick to them easily. If I drip something on them, it easily cleans off with water. I tried the pants on at a sporting goods store beforehand, and the prices on Amazon were a little better.

Great hiking pants, bought 3 pair of convertible pants of various colors, used for hiking , walking and biking. true to size, fast drying and keep me cool, allow me to switch over to shorts when I ride my mountain bike and on cooler days convert to pants, also allow me to have full range of movement doing various activities.

Have had three pairs of these for several years and my 16 year old son has had a few pairs also. They are awesome pants for hiking and camping in. They are light and comfortable, will not chafe as you walk. They don't get hot in the summer and the legs zip off for warmer weather converting them into shorts. They have enough pocket room to stow what you may need (map, compass, snack, etc) yet the pockets are not bulky and sticking out. Due to the material they will dry quickly if they get wet and all around make for good outdoors or traveling pants. The only reason I did not give them a five star rating is that the leg bottoms don't have zippers so when converting the pants you have to take your boots off to don/doff the leg pieces.

Luv the color, luv the fit. It didn't meet my expectations on its ability to keep me cool and dry when I was wearing it. But I think its because the high humidity of the environment I was in. On a much drier climate it would have been better.

Pants fit prefect, only problem is the size sticker on pant leg didn't come completely off. Might send back

My new favorite pair(s) of pants because yes after getting one pair and wearing them every day I could for a month or so I bought another pair and hope to eventually have 5 in total. Yes they are pricey but well worth it. The material is light and breaths but can be work in chilly weather with tights underneath. Depending on the color you choose they can look fairly classy with a nice shirt. I love the options to zip them into shorts but I'm not sure I'll ever need to use it because they breathe so we'll.

Great quality, really good looking and perfect fit, light but feels like a premium quality and strong material. I also have the insulated winter version of this and am very satisfied; would buy it again.

Great hiking pants but unfortunately the pants fit a little too slim so we will need to exchange them for one size bigger. My son is very slim but these pants still fit too slim to move in. I suggest you buy a size large then you normally wear.
