Bummer
I use these long cables for an external drive. When I use my old ten foot cable, everything is perfect. When I use these 15' cables, for some reason, after about 30 minutes, my external drive spontaneously disconnects. I am a software developer and hardware specialist. It's the cable. It's not the user. The only problem with my 10' cable is it's too short. The external drive will stay active for weeks using that cable. I'm not stepping on them they aren't pinched somewhere, the cables are the problem. So if you only need 30 mins of use, it might be fine for you. Had I known, I would not have bought them.
