Would be five stars, but the price is just a negative to me. The original bulbs lasted all of 6 months and the replacement price makes the process painful. But the lamps, very nice ones, were a gift, so whatta you gonna do?

Right bulb; 2 day shipping; hard to find in stores.I was surprised by this odd bulb when I took it out.Hadn't seen a halogen with this type of base.There was no wattage markings on it but Amazon's pictures showing the inner wires allowed me to ID it perfectly.New bulb comes fully marked with wattage and base size.....db

This bulb came in a box wrapped in bubble wrap. It was not sealed & the base was questionable. Anyone who knows about these bulbs knows that the bulb cannot be touched or the bulb will blow out. I questioned it when I got it suspecting that the bulb had been touched since someone would have had to put it in the wrap. When I replaced my lightbulb with this one, just as I suspected it blew and was no good. I went to the hardware store and bought a new one, which came sealed securely in the retail packaging. The one from the hardware store works fine and has lasted about a year. This seemed like a good deal but it is NOT. If these bulbs are not in original packaging DO NOT BUY THEM! It is a waste of money. You get what you pay for. These bulbs are now up to $11.99 at Ace so that alone should have been a clue to me. Live & learn!

We got the bulb and it didn't work. Not worth sending it back so we went to lowes instead. We probably should have done that in the first place.

I ordered two bulbs and one arrived completely dead. Shipping is fast, that's about all I can say.
