Boker Magnum BOM01MB713-BRK Black Scorpion Linerlock

The good:The knife itself is solid and typical Boker quality for the price point. Very sharp and cuts string and tape easily. The point is nice for opening things and hasn't suffedred any distress in the limited use if have put it through. This will not be a EDC knife for me, although you could asily carry it. It is on the larger size bu not obnoxiosly so. Smooth enough to open and close easily. Solid locking with no blade wiggle at all. Blade was centered and all hardware was tight. Metal scales are fine, a bit heavier than others.The bad:When I ordered the knife it appeared to be an olive green, the one I received was a bright gold. While the color doesn't affect the use, it is gawdy. This knife looks like something you'd win at a carnival ring toss. That is the only real negative I have on this knife.

OK. here's my take on this knife. First. Delivery was super fast and a big Thank You goes to Amazon Prime. Second. BOKER knives are really well made and are made in Germany.... I give them a 10. Next. When I opened the box to check the knife out. I found that this thing was an albatross. It was one of the ugliest knives I've ever seen and it wasn't the knife that I actually ordered (different color). I understand that beauty is in the eye of the owner. But I must say that this wasn't what I wanted. I will add that looking at this knife. It's very very intimidating looking and the blade was totally sharp. That being said. It's not what I really wanted. Returning this was a snap and I appreciate Amazon for easy returns. I did purchase a different knife so I hope that one works for me

It's a fun blade. With most knives, i feel like they're first and foremost a tool. Nah, this is a weapon. This will not help with a pb&j sandwich. This will rip whathaveyou a new one. I like it.

Came In Loose & Not Lubricated.
