Majestic Eagles: Compelling Facts and Images of the Bald Eagle (Wildlife Appreciation)

I first heard of this book during a visit to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN. If you have the opportunity, it's a place you might visit more than once, as I have.This book added to the experience, providing additional details about the eagles, as well as beautiful pictures of these birds living actively in their natural environment.Highly recommended!

We have 2 eagles nesting on the other side of our lake in a tall pine tree. The book was really a good source of information on why things happened the way it does. The pictures are excellent! The female is larger than the male...she runs the show...from mate selection, nest construction, feeding and caring for the babies...it is quiet a family. They are beautiful critters!

I have several Bald Eagle reference books as I am a moderator on an eagle cam website, and this one is so handy for quick reference material. I have shared it with others. It has beautiful photos, it is written in layman's language - and is enjoyable to read. I have other books that have much more detail, but this is indeed my favorite just because of its beauty, simplicity, and accurate facts. I highly recommend it for anyone who has an interest in Bald Eagles. Photos are great too!

Clear language that brings these great birds to life from the page with photographs which could stand out as a "coffee table book" on their own. How wonderful to get detailed explanations in understandable language free from jargon. The inclusion of technical terms for anatomical details is fun, but Tekiela uses the ordinary words thereafter making the explanations understandable.

Facts given in the dialogue of video were of interest. 6 and 8 year old grandsons enjoyed video, too.

This is a very informative book on Bald Eagles with lots of great pictures. I have loved the Bald Eagle for some time and was glad to get this book so I could learn even more about this incredible survivor of man's intentional and unintentional efforts to send the bird to extinction. I am so grateful for those who research these birds and photograph them so that the world can enjoy them as well.

Excellent photos and facts to learn more about our favorite birds! This would be a great gift for anyone who loves Eagles.
