A good coil winding machine
This coil winding machine is a good inexpensive solution for rewinding small motors. I added a small electric motor to my coil winder with a variable speed foot pedal. On occasion, the counter will fail to click, so take care when re-setting to zero. The winding head molds must be purchased separately.

Works, inexpensive
This looks like an artifact from the 19th century. It is cast iron, and it has a mix of steel and plastic (like Delrin maybe) gears. It has a pulley belt fitting too, so it looks like it is intended for motor or hand cranking. It has a large threaded center, and it has some cones for fitting spools. We wound speaker drivers on it, and it worked well. We wanted to wind a guitar pickup, and that was more difficult. We added a support with heat moldable plastic, and it isn’t too bad.The price was super low. It would be nice if it had more fittings and a better way to do guitar pickups, but overall it is a bargain. The packaging was just styrofoam wrapped in plastic, without a box. Shipped from China, very fast. It is robustly built, so it survived.

It works
Apart from looking like it's an ancient tool. It does the job

Works great, packaging was horrible.
The winder works great, but it is a miracle it arrived in one piece given the packaging. It was wrapped in a foam block and then placed in a plastic envelope bag. I have read numerous reviews where this winder arrives with a bent shaft. When I saw the packaging I understood how, I was so surprised to find that mine arrived undamaged. The shaft is nice and straight, and the counter works perfectly.

I'd happily pay $5 more for packing materials
Somehow it arrived in one piece despite Kool-Aid Manning its way through the cheap styrofoam like it couldn't wait to be freed from its soft white prison. It works. Feels really rattly and cheap but I can't complain for the price.

works fine.
I wound several coils so far. It mounted easily to a piece of 2x10 I had laying around. All gears, pulleys, counter function, etc are all good. Belt from sewing machine motor easily attached. It's perfect for my occasional use. I believe it would hold up fine in a production environment as well.
