Basically, Sig took their Romeo 1 Pro optic that comes with a metal shroud in some formats, and encased the metal (steel) in polymer to created a steel reinforced optic. I use mine on a competition match grade pistol. It produces excellent results. 98% lethal hit ratio! And I'm an.d guy with glasses. I ordered mine with the reticle and dot selectable choice of sight pictures.
