I’ve gotten mine wet several times. Overtime the case will darken but it doesn’t ruin.

Q: Is the leather case protective from drops?

It will certainly provide some protection, especially if the iPhone falls on an edge. Of course, it won't help if the drop is from more than two or three feet. It also makes the iPhone less slippery in your hand, so you may be less likely to drop it in the first place.

Q: Is it authentic apple case?

Yes, it matched the quality of one I had bought from Apple.
