Got a matching pair
I got this as a match for a tire I purchased from my LBS when it closed down. Bummer, but managed to score on a mate to give htem a whirl. Seems like a good tire for commuting on a hardtail. Will let you know how it works out once there is time to put in a few more miles.

Great commuter tires
Finally wore out the first set I bought 7 years ago. These have great tread for wet roads. The reflector tape is great too, and was just starting to come off when the rest of the tire started to fall apart.

Durable but heavy and slow
These are great tires, very durable and good for light trails. The bad part is because they are so durable they are very heavy and create a lot of resistance. If you want hardcore durable tites for your commuter it touring these are great. If you want a slim fast tire, these are terrible.

Great for Commuting
My wife got these for me for Christmas as I am a bike commuter (I ride about 16 miles/day, 8 each way). I have a hard-tail 29er mountain bike to ride during the snowy Utah winters but I wanted tires that were a little less aggressive and better for road use than standard mountain bike tires. These are excellent. I have ridden them approximately 150 miles and I have had zero flats so far, and the tread seems to be holding up fairly well. I guess they could have used a little stronger rubber but for the price I can't really complain. Compared to my roadie these still have noticably more roll resistance, but that's to be expected...THEY'RE NOT SLICKS, DON'T EXPECT THEM TO BEHAVE LIKE THEY ARE.Overall, great tires for bike commuting.

Maxxis Brings Maximum Confidence in a Bike Tire
The Maxxis Overdrive Hybrid Bike Tire is a fine tire. In fact, it's even better than that. I own a Windsor Rover 2.0 hybrid and it came with a standard Kenda OEM. It was adequate, but being a rather large male at 6' 3" and 230# and having a disability, I can ill afford having a blowout or leak along any type of trail or urban route. I have had these tires now for about 200 miles and they still look brand new! But, they also have a good tread pattern and seem to work well on both wet and dry road surfaces. I will probably update this review after I hit 500 miles or so, but for now, I would have to recommend them highly and give the tire a solid 5 star rating.

This tire did not fit and would not work
I bought this tire to replace a worn out Bontrager with the exact same specs. This tire was significantly larger & would not stay on the rim. I'm experienced with bike tires & found that a replacement tire of the same brand as the original fit just fine.Your experience may vary. I regret this purchase.

nice tires so far
so far so good this are some good tires. I had these tires for few weeks and I've ran over pieces of glass and stones and so far no holes in my tires. They are nice looking tires and they ride very smooth. I highly recommend them especially for the price that I paid. For the money no bike tires out there can compete.
