I bought a laptop cooling pad for my teen son for Christmas and felt pretty proud of myself for coming up with a great gift. That is, until we realized his laptop only has one USB port. That meant he couldn’t plug in his mouse and the cooler at the same time. Oops. Enter this Anker 4-Port USB Hub — problem solved instantly. Now he can use his mouse and cooling pad at the same time with zero issues. Even better, he still has extra ports available to charge his phone and headphones while he’s gaming or doing homework. Everything works smoothly, and we haven’t experienced any lag or connectivity problems. The hub is compact, well-made, and exactly what we needed. If you’re dealing with limited USB ports, this is an easy, affordable fix. Highly recommend!

Works good so far, sometimes cpu doesn’t recognize when a device is connected, its not related to any specific port on the product. 3 of the ports are connected to external hard drives powered by the usb and the 4th is being used for a Bluetooth receiver for keyboard/mouse. Last night it all worked initially then somewhere along the way the connection was lost to one of the hard drives. Issue persisted until i unplugged and replugged everything on the hub. Speed is good, honestly seems faster than what was. Im happy with it, well worth it even if there is some issue with power or one of the usb.

After purchasing a new laptop a few months ago, I knew that I would have to purchase a USB hub, as my laptop only came with 3 ports, and I needed more than just that. The result of this led me to look online, where I stumbled across this product (Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra Slim Data USB Hub with 2ft Extended Cable) as it was Amazon’s choice in USB Hub’s. After receiving the product, and using it for a few weeks, I decided to purchase another! I am excited to discuss why I like this product, and why I think that you, too, will have a great experience with ANKER (regarding this product). As usual TLDR at bottom. PRO’s -This USB hub is extremely modern and slim, which I really like the look of! About the same thickness of my laptop (maybe around 1cm or so). It is also very light, which makes it easy to throw in my bag when I need to take it on the go. -I can run my webcam, microphone, mouse, and keyboard all on the same hub! This allows for me to utilize four separate products in a hub that only takes up one port in total! This really helps since the amount of USB based products that I used greatly outnumbers the amount on my computer, and I wouldn’t be able to use products I need without this hub! Do keep in mind there is a limit for the number of devices you can place on this hub, (check on listing description for more information), but I have had no problems connecting and running what I need to on this hub). -USB Hub comes with a warranty card and instructions which are both appreciated. Also goes into detail about customer service and support, set up details, and other information regarding this product. -USB Hub is available in black (not sure if there are any other colors), but they really made a nice-looking product! Sure, there are some cheaper ones, but in my opinion, I much prefer the look and feel of this product, almost premium. Middle Ground (Product information that is not amazing but not awful) -Cable length is advertised as 2ft, which is correct. I do feel that YMMV depending on how far away your desktop PC is from where you need the USB hub to be. I use a laptop, so I never have any problems with cable length, but I don’t think if they added an extra foot or two to the length would really hurt the product. (Might be a good idea for a future model). -Product feels a tiny bit flimsy, nothing that I worry about, but be cautious of holding it too hard, as it is already thing with multiple hollowed out points for the USB slots. -There is a small LED light that indicates the USB Hub has power. It is not bright at all but sometimes that you may want to note if any light at all bothers you. Really hasn’t been a problem for me, and if it is for you, just get a piece of tape. CON’s -Fortunately, I haven’t had anything that would be a con for this product, it just is all around a great product, which is why I feel it deserves 5/5 stars. If you are looking for a USB hub, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed! TLDR: Excellent USB Hub all Around. Double check how much cable length you need (as this is only 2ft) but asides from that highly recommend.

This little hub works great, I have had no issues with disconnects or Windows 11 compatibility. It stay cool to the touch even with USB flash drives installed. The blue LED light is not too blinding like other devices I've used in the past. The cable makes a great connection to plug into my PC and the wire length is optimal and not too bulky. It has no issues whatsoever with using an HD streaming camera, USB keyboard and a flash drive all at once.

This USB hub works perfectly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Solid build quality, stable connections, and no issues with power or dropouts. It’s compact, reliable, and easy to use; classic Anker quality. Plug it in and forget about it.

This is a good alternative for those of us who might need to attach several devices to our computers at one time. My current laptop only has two usb A ports as opposed to my latter laptop that had four usb A ports. I use a mouse as opposed to the keyboard pad. That leaves one usb A port avaliable. There could be times when I need more usb A ports that what my laptop offers. I purchased this product and it works well for me.

I needed a slim USB expansion for my Microsoft Office Pro to accomodate mouse, ext HD and variouse USB drives whilst I'm travelling. Excellent quality, very small footprint - works a treat.
