The headbands do seem to run on the bigger side and my head is on the smaller side, so I had to adjust them by tucking the extra fabric into a small bun at the back using a rubber band. Once adjusted they stayed in place just fine. For the amount you get and the variety of colors and styles, this set is a good value. Not too girly and frilly and design looks nice even for work/sophisticated looks. My only issue is that they vary in terms of comfort. Some feel loose and some feel too tight. Some fabrics are slippery so I have to adjust the headband throughout the day. But still not a bad price for getting two or three that I really like and I have many that I can gift/share.
