Great product! So easy to sauté in a pan to and do much to your dish

I use a lot of cumin in my cooking, and this is wonderful tasting and smelling, and is at a great price! I have purchased it before, and will purchase again.

The last 20yrs or more, I have been buying cumin from India. I have a 2yr old with lead poisoning and it's mostly diet and air related. Unfortunately, the food we are ingesting is full of lead and other toxic heavy metals. lead is no joke with kids. Spices is one of the worst that have lead. I have had to start making my own otherwise we go without. Yes, even Organic USA spices are full of lead.I decided to go with this product, it's USA made, organic and most importantly from a co-op. There is such a difference to this product. They smell like real cumin should, better than the Indian cumin. They are a slight bit darker too.Very happy with my purchase. Well worth the money.

I enjoyed this cumin a lot. I ground it and added it to black bean pasta and soybeans. I also ate it in vegetable glycerin gel caps. I even added it to inflation bags when I vaporized cannabis and inhaled it. I just held it in my mouth like I was dipping too. It’s potent and high quality.

Fresh and tastes great!

We use a ton of cumin. This one is okay for the price. I will probably not buy it again though. It's not terrible but the aromatics are a bit lacking. Tends to be the case with Frontier unfortunately.

As soon as I opened the bag, I smelled fresh aroma of this spice. I have used it when I was making tacos and cooking beans, and this spice definitely made the difference in flavor of the dish.1 lb bag seems quite big, however, I use this spice pretty frequently. So I'm pretty confident I will be able to use it all before the spice starts to lose freshness. The bag that comes with is not resealable, so I put some in smaller resealable bag for my spice drawer. You can see the color of the spice in my picture.

I have always found Frontier spices to be high quality, fresh, and they last a long time. We use a lot of cumin, so its nice to buy it in bulk and store it in a large jelly jar.
