purdy good for an old watch
for a watch that came out abyear before the galaxy watch 3 it functions as well as the galaxy watch 4 or 5 with a high quality screen too. battery does die a little fast but it charges in about an hour or less so i jus keep the charger with me in case its needed.

A really good smartwatch!
I love it!The first time you set-up the watch, you may feel some lag or that the battery drains fast. After all the updates and that, the watch is super fast and responsive. The battery last 24hrs with a normal usage (Always on display, Gps on, Wifi on, etc...).I Love the sleep tracker and the heart rate sensor. The only thing that I don't like is the watch strap.

Armani of One
The media could not be loaded. Stuff to know:-The touch of blue is very sharp! We love that.-The quality of the presentation is top-notch, including the zippered clamshell.-Everything about the watch, charger, and case feels sturdy.-This device will not charger wirelessly. Contact with the charger is required (2 rings on the back of the watch). Wireless would have been nice but isn’t a deal-breaker. We do worry about the longevity of the contacts on the charger.-No wall plug is included. Really?-We didn’t see in the packaging where Intrusion Prevention (for immersion in water) was indicated. Amazon’s info says resistant to 30 m. We personally wouldn’t chance it.-There are lots of amazing faces you can choose from.-It operates via the WearOS app, which is easy to set up. You’re guided through the whole process. We paired this to an iPhone 8 Plus running OS 13.1.2 with no problems.-Brightness is easy to control.-All operations we tested had a very smooth response.-You can change battery settings for conservation purposes, which is pretty awesome. Choosing extended will turn off some features, but....-You get 8 gigs of memory. Now the more philosophical stuff:This is a really nice smart watch, but you’re rating the app as much as the watch. WearOS is an operating system by Google which is the platform used by pretty much every non-Apple watch. This is the first non-Apple watch we’ve owned, and we’re impressed....but it’s hard to separate watch from software. If the screen is dark, this is just another smart watch. It doesn’t scream “Armani.” The price isn’t unreasonable, but it is a bit higher than other similar watches based on our research. Then again, it is Armani....

Premium smartwatch packed with features, great processor and battery
This review is going to focus on the features of the smartwatch itself, not so much on the WearOS platform or smartwatches in general. If you're considering a smartwatch in this price range, most likely you are already familiar with the platform. Go to the end for a Pro/Con list & TL/DR version.I have a lot of experience with Android smartwatches, going all the way back to the first gen Moto 360. I also have experience with the Emporio Armani 2. This smartwatch packs a lot of features in it that makes it a premium watch. Though it is on the high side, price wise, ($375 at the time of the review) I think it is worth it. With that said, most of the features are also in the Armani 2. So if you can find a good deal on the last model, you likely won't be disappointed. The processor in this watch is definitely better, but not that much more noticeably. The 3 also has a built in speaker, which I think has limited value, other than the novelty of being able to say it's like a Dick Tracy watch. It is lighter in weight than the version 2, which makes it more comfortable to wear all day. Also, the scroll wheel on the side is easier to turn than the one on the 2. So there are improvements from version 2, but 2 still packs a lot into it.I like that it is really multi-functional. It is dressy looking, but still has all the heart rate tracking & integrated GPS, so it can be used as a fitness watch. I also like the silicone strap that comes with it. I do use it for fitness features, so the fancier leather strap (like the one that came with the 2) would just get damaged. It also has NFC, so you can integrate with Google Pay and use it to tap to pay. While it does have a speaker, I really don't use it. I might turn it on when I, know I'm alone just for fun. But most of the time, I don't want people around me to hear what I'm doing with my watch (or listening in on my calls). It also boasts being swimproof, but I didn't test this feature. I don't really have a need to use it in the water.Battery life is slightly better than the version 2 watch, and one of the better ones in Wear OS watches. It will easily get you a full day's worth of use, and I use it quite a bit throughout the day. I regularly record two bike commutes using the Strava app, routinely get lots of notifications and use it to control music. And I can easily get a full day's worth of juice out of it.Maybe the only bad thing is that I'm not a fan of the integrated Armani watchface collection. They do have a lot of functionality in them, but I find the process of customizing them and saving them is not intuitive.TL/DR: The Emporior Armani 3 is a premium WearOS smartwatch packed with all the features you need (and some you don't). Processor is new & fast, battery lasts all day. It's pricey, but worth it if you are in the market for a smartwatch of this caliber.Pros:All the sensors: Heart Rate, GPS, NFCLots of storageSnapdragon 3100 ProcessorEasy turn scroll wheelCustomizable side buttonsCons:Not a fan of the Armani family of watchfaces. You can customize them, but the process of saving and applying them is confusing.
