Insten Waterproof Bag Case for Cell Phone/PDA - Retail Packaging - Blue

Although I haven't put it to the test, I think it'll work for me. It seems sturdy enough to create a decent seal and protect my phone for when I do things like kayaking or hiking along rivers (sometimes swimming through) that aren't far from where I live. I wouldn't trust it to go snorkeling though, which I do often as well. I can use the touch screen right through the plastic, and the speaker can be heard through. In essence you can keep using the phone will it's in the bag, the problem is that the bag itself is too small.I have a HTC ONE V, which is a smaller than average phone as far as smartphones go. It JUST BARELY fits. Once inside I have to really push to get the bag to seal, and getting the phone out later is ridiculously difficult since the plastic sticks all around and (ironically) creates an air-lock between both flat surfaces of the phone. Before putting the phone in the bag, I have to take off it's cover, and once inside the plastic itself accidentally pushes the sleep/power button because of the tight fit.For the price, I think it's a fair product, but make sure your phone is no bigger than mine before making your purchase.

Bought 2 of these for the waterpark. Tested it out with some Kleenex and 1 hour in the pool. Although I isn't meant to be submerged, it held up just fine. It is made up of 2 ziplocks which fold over and lock with velcro. After 1 hour there was some moisture between the 2 zip lock strips but the kleenex stayed dry. By the looks of the pouch, if it fails it will be at the seams and not from the ziplock.overall a steal for $2.13. only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 star is the shipping was horrifically slow, then again it did come from Hong Kong. If it was a US seller I would give it a 5. I think i would no hesitate to put my iphone in the pouch assuming it was just to protect it from quick dunks in the water.It holds an iPhone 5 just fine. you just can't fit a case with it. Not sure what some other users complained about.

I bought this for my trip to the Caribbean for my itouch&iphone. It works as advertised. I tested it in the sink and dipped it in and out before actually using it in the Caribbean and it worked great. It fits perfectly, with a little bit of space on the top and bottom for you to move around the itouch and fits perfectly for the iphone. The iphone is a complete snug fit and stays in place The touch screen and everything is still sensitive and the pictures come out great. The only complain is the back of this product is tinted blue so say I wanted to take pictures of myself using the front camera its completely blurry. I would say if you plan to do that, then get one that is clear front AND back. However, if not taking pictures with front camera is not a concern, then this product is GREAT!!

Pros: It worked. I tested it with paper towels inside first. I filled the sink with water and sunk the case. I moved it around to make sure water wouldn't get inside.Cons: I mean, it's really just a fancy ziplock bag. So it worked, but you might as well use several plastic bags. At least it was cheap and somewhat efficient.Additionally, it's pretty difficult to use your phone while it's in the bag.I tried it on my lg marquee, and it's a pretty tight fit.

works great as a dry bag, it is just a bit too small to put the ipod and the impact protecting case in, so it is cumbersome in taking the case off to use the dry bag, my son used it for his Bloomin Kids Mile run and he loved it, we just struggled to get the ipod out after the race - BUT it kept it dry and I carry them with us on our adventures in case we get stuck in the rain,

This pouch fits my Apple iPhone 4, but only without my Tumi case. Otherwise it's a little to snug to feel like the seal would be right. Instead, I carried our hotel room key, car key and $20. while snorkeling. It was perfect for that. No leaking or any troubles. If I really needed to carry my phone, I would feel confident that it would not be damaged. Also, you can work the touchscreen through the bag.

I'm using this for an HTC Sensation 4G WITH A FACEPLATE ON & it fits just fine. Maybe a hair tight but it goes in & comes out. I have no concerns that my phone will get wet...I filled up the kitchen sink & threw the bag in. It came out totally dry. There are several seals on this bag & unless you puncture the outer covering I don't expect any water issues. As far as the current comment (only 1 at the time I'm leaving this)....I simply turned my phone upside down & I can get to the top button on my phone with no issues. Planned to buy a few more of these but at the time I'm leaving this review it says out of stock :-(

Waterproof??I have no idea. Water protective, yes very much.1. I will not risk placing my phone inside this bag under water. I think it would work though.2. Nice being able to operate my Iphone when it is inside the bag.3. Small enough and flexible enough to place in my back pocket while riding my road bike. (Sweat management!)4. Good for other stuff like credit cards and such.5. Will be nice for the beach protecting against sand.And they send 2 of them for this price. Nice job.

It's smaller than expected and won't hold my phone + keys. Would have liked it a bit bigger but guess that's what I ordered. Delivered earlier than expected

The pouch worked as described. It stayed waterproof and protected my phone very well. The reason I rated it low is because after multiple openings and closing the case began to tear. It may have been that my phone was a little to snug inside the pouch and required a little extra effort to get the phone out. I would recommend buying one that is at least an inch or two wider than you phone to prevent this.

Kept everything inside it dry. Jumped into the ocean with it in my pocket and no water made it into it. My phone, money, and hotel card was kept dry and undamaged. I was also able to take good quality photos with my Samsung Galaxy S2 while in the case.

Came late, but at least I got it. Great little waterproof bag.
