Clear Glue in 2-Way Applicator, 1.6 oz, Photo Safe and Non-Toxic, 1-Pack

I've used thix glue for years, almost as much for the dispenser as for the quality of the glue itself. The glue is good, high quality for use in its intended range, which for me generally is for adhering paper to paper, light plastics to paper and even light plastics to plastics. It's not an earth-shattering rocket-science level adhesive, just an everyday well-made functional household glue. The dispenser is much more unique: The glue bottle is double-ended, meaning you can apply the glue from either end. One end comes to a truncated-point that allows you to dispense the glue to a fairly precise single point, while the opposite end is broad, an almost sponge-like applicator that allow you to lay down a thin, flat ribbon of glue. It's much like the pre-applied adhesive along the edge of a paper mailing envelope; the area you wet to seal the envelope before mailing (if any of you have been around long enough to remember how that worked!). Anyway, both ends have caps that seal fairly well, so the glue stays fresh. The glue is clear, as is the bottle it comes in, so you always know how much is left. The price is very reasonable for a fine, simple product that's easy to use, versatile and to me, even odor-free. What's not to like?

I wanted to preserve my daughter's wedding flowers in some way, so I got a photo of them, along with a shadow box and some dried flowers from her bouquet. I used this Scotch Clear Glue to adhere the flower to the back glass, and a little bit to the photo. Very easy application, and clean-up was simple. It resulted in a great 3-D photo that both by daughter and SIL loved. The glue did not harm the photo. It dried quickly and accomplished exactly what I bought it for. Great price!

The product packaging (NOT the outside box) came all bent and crumpled as if it was used, but the glue stick inside the package was fine and worked well. I got it to repair the binding of my leather Bible that was starting to come apart. I fixed it yesterday and it appears to be holding very well. Only time will tell, but I did have a product like this one (maybe even the same one) years ago and it worked well for many purposes until it ran out. I was glad to find it again.

I like that this glue provides two choices for application. This feature and the perfect amount of thickness, gives you more control over the amount that you may want to apply, depending on your project. I personally have chosen this to seal all of my Christmas cards as its clear in color, the narrow end makes it easy to apply it neatly and then dries quickly to create a good seal. It also has a good shelf life. What was left in the bottle from the previous year, performed just as well one year later. I've purchased this twice now and will continue to purchase it for future projects.
