Dragonpad USA 6" Microphone Studio Pop Filter with Clamp - Black/White

Why is it the cheapest pop filter I've ever bought has the only gooseneck that holds its position? And it matches my white mic stand too! I'm doing a podcast with some people who aren't too experienced, and can not hold their head at an off axis to reduce sibilance, pops, and plosives. This has been a real lifesaver. It's big enough for every mic in my locker. Sound wise, I think I have a $150 one that is 10% better? It isn't going to stop you from running a couple plug ins in post, but it also isn't taking away from your mics sensitivity. The sound passing through it is natural, and not muddy. It's not bringing the level down any decibels. Physically speaking, the clamp that attaches it to your stand is metal, and I think that's why it stays put. The gooseneck is also metal, and you will need to make three bends to get it where you want, but then it doesn't drift off. The hoop holding the screens is plastic - it's light weight also helps it stay in place. I'm buying more, while they are at this price.

6$ for this? I'm shocked. It's heavy build quality. Metal bendy arm and its plenty long enough. metal clamp. I can see the clamp being an odd shape for some booms or arms. I'm not an audiophile by any means mainly just using it for discord on my Samson Q9U. Looks cool and works for what I need it for. Might not compare to name brand as far as plosive protection but it does the job. If your in the market for a 6$ pop filter this will go way above and beyond anything else you can find for the price and durability. This will do the trick 100%. 10/5 stars.

The clip which is supposed to attach to your mic, table, etc is really awkward as whatever you want to attach it to has to fit in the small space between the two sides of the clip. The "hose" connecting to the filter and the clip can become lose. The hose is also difficult to bend and manipulate. The filer itself is great though. Works as intended.

The Dragonpad USA 6" Microphone Studio Pop Filter is an excellent performer that effectively tames most plosives without noticeably coloring the sound. Many pop filters either block plosives well but dull the tone, or preserve tone while letting bursts through—this one strikes an ideal middle ground. It provides solid protection while keeping your voice clear and natural. At its current price, it’s easily one of the best values available.

I was expecting a little better quality since the price is higher than most basic pop-filters, but I guess you are paying for looks as well. the white with black mesh looks great, however it came with a nick in the mesh out of the box. The goose neck is good, though not amazing. The clamp and mounting screw is sort of wonky, but eventually found itself snug on my desk mounted boom arm. It does take out most of the popping in sound, but it is not a fix all. you will still hear it if you try, though they will be less noticeable in context. Overall I'd say if you are between this one and a cheaper one and you don't care about looks or the color, get the cheaper one.

Pero si vas a comprar te recomiendo ser paciente si eres de acá de Latinoamérica, ya que te puede tardar 2 semanas o 2 semanas y media aproximadamente. En cuanto al producto, su construcción es bastante buena, el plástico circular que sostiene la malla es bastante duro, de una muy buena calidad. La malla por otra parte es bastante buena, pero no es tan resistente como parece en la foto, SIN EMBARGO, es como todo producto de este estilo, debes tenerle cuidado, no ponerte a jalar la malla, ni rasgarla. Es muy bueno este filtro anti pop, corta muy bien las P y las S, cumple de lo lindo su función principal y se engancha correctamente a los brazos de los micrófonos, lo probé con varios y se pudo ajustar muy fácilmente. Recomiendo totalmente este filtro anti pop, es muy bueno, se adapta fácilmente, su construcción es muy buena y por este precio, créeme, no encontrarás otro que sea igual de bueno que este; ya que si quieres uno mejor tendrás que gastar más.

Esta muy bonito, y de buen material, para el precio que tiene esta excelente.

El material de este anti pop se siente de materiales de muy buena calidad y hace su función perfectamente. Lo he probado tanto en el Blue Yeti como en el Blue Snowball ICE y queda perfecto.

El filtro funciona increible

Durável e bonito. Porém, difícil de manter em uma posição ergonômica. Só serve se o pedestal e o mic forem grandes também.
