The candle snuffer is beautiful. It is ornate without being overwhelming. The bell holds the smoke in as you snuff out the candle due to the design. The kids think this is cool. This snuffer is for upright candles and wider candles. If you have a candle in a glass, it might be akward.. The bell doesn't move. It is well made and a nice black bronze color. It is surprising light for the material in which it is made. I will buy it again for presents at a later date.
