I love not having to worry about a cord when using my dyson, however I don’t like how heavy it is. With this attachment I can clean hard to get to places like shades and crevices without having to hold the dyson only the attachment. I have a Velcro wrap that I use to tie around the nozzle so that I can place the vacuum down while using the attachment. I just noticed that an attachment for the nozzle is also available and I will try that as well.

Very good quality and do exactly what it is supposed to do. Very happy.Now I can use my Dyson vacuum to do some cleaning jobs that it could not before. highly recommend!

It started out that all I wanted was a good crevice tool for my Dyson V7, but instead I ended up with this whole collection of tools and I've been delighted with them! They are of good quality and design and I've been amazed at how much they've enhanced the versatility of my V7. It's like having a whole new machine with new capabilities I hadn't even anticipated.One nice surprise was that with the supplied adapter I can use practically all of the tools from my old Dyson DC23 canister vac, especially my fairly expensive and oft used Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool which works great on the end of a stick vac in ways the supplied power head just can't match on bare floors. Indeed, I was hoping the universal adapter that comes with this tool set would work with my older DC23 tools but I had no way to know for sure until it showed up in my mailbox. I'm very pleased about this, as you can imagine.Another really cool surprise was the discovery that I can use the hose attachment between the V7 powerhead and the long stick tube. Basically, you end up with a kind of miniature handheld canister vacuum that is usable in numerous ways the stick alone isn't. You can easily reach for places and maneuver around things you just can't with a traditional straight stick vac set-up. And recently, I injured my wrist so that working with a handheld stick vacuum can be a bit challenging these days but with the hose attachment between the powerhead and the long stick tube I can simply hold the V7 by my side with my right arm extended and relaxed as I work the hose attached stick tube with my left hand. This discovery was a delightful revelation! As I've said, it's like having a miniature handheld, hose style canister vac you can walk around with. Reaching for things in high places is almost effortless because you're not dealing with the weight of the powerhead.Somebody mentioned that some of these tools are loose when attached so that they jiggle back and forth a bit and I experienced the same problem. I'm not thrilled about this as I think certain of these tools could have been built with greater precision for a tighter fit but the fact is that everything works well and so far there haven't been any noticeable problems, so I guess it's really a minor grievance. And one of the combination tools that comes with this set seemed at first to be totally redundant because it is so similar to the one that came with my V7 except that it turns out that the new tool works better than the original Dyson (stronger suction at the nozzle head), and so yet another pleasant surprise.If you are looking for aftermarket tools for a Dyson handheld you simply can't go wrong with this collection, especially at this price.

The fit is not great as you need to use certain force to plug it in on either side.

Hose it sucks

I purchased these to fit my art studio Dyson vacuum and happy I did. Took awhile to figure out how the varies attachments clipped on but indeed they did. More attachments than I will use, likely.

I love my Dyson V7 but using the one and only included brush attached to the power head for cleaning around tight areas or on my desk is very awkward and you can't really get into tight areas. I saw that I really need an extension hose. Rather than just buy a hose for $15 I got this set for $20 and all the extra tools to boot. Great value.I wasn't expecting much for the price but the hose is high quality soft very flexible vinyl with a spring reinforcement. Collapsed length is 21" and it extends to 40" without pulling too much on the connector. It will extend to 55" but I wouldn't use it that far as the strain on the connector seems a bit much.The hose fits my V7 without any adapter and my existing dyson brush snaps into the other end of the hose without any adapter. The motorhead and extension tube also fit the end of the hose but they don't go in far enough for the latch to lock, the fit is tight and if you needed to use those tools with the hose it could work.To use the tools in this kit you need to use the included adapter. I was concerned with all of these extra connections there would be leakage but putting your hand on the end of the crevice tool and the suction feels the same. Blocking it fully will cause pulsing indicating that there are probably no leaks. There are gaskets on the hose and adapter to give you a good seal.I was impressed with the quality of the plastic too. For this price I expected rough seams from poor molding and burrs along the mold lines and possibly warpage like you might find on other cheap Chinese junk. Not so here, quality seems to be every bit as good as Dyson, no burrs anywhere. The brushes are stiffer and rougher than the Dyson tools. The brush on the crevice tool is softer and probably the most useful tool.Like I said, I have the Dyson V7 so I don't know how the connections would work with newer models that I understand have different size connectors.
