A bit smaller than expected but still great.
I needed a pouch to store everything I use to write and draw with and i quickly filled it to the brim. My only complaint is that it's a bit small. I wish it was at least an inch bigger on all dimensions but I'm happy with my purchase. I am confident that it will last a long time.

An amazing purchase!
The media could not be loaded. I have my fair share of liking stationery items and so when I saw a review on this pen case not to long ago I decided to purchase, back in 2019. It has been 3 years since then and I must say it was definitely worth it being that this case is cheaper than others. As you can see in the video my zippers are still intact and function well. They zip smoothly although when only using one hand it's hard to show. Personally, I just store my items for school and then any pen refills or gum or other small trinkets in the side pouch since it's perfect for that!

Bought is about 5 years ago and still in tip top shape
I like that the cost is fair and after so much use it still works with no damage. I hate to buy something and it's useless after a month, but I was looking to buy a bigger one of these pencil bags today and just thought I'd let anyone who reads this know that it's really worth the money. I used this one as a pencil bag and recently to hold some small tools like a box cutter, multi-purpose tool, and flash light. Living in Texas you always gotta be prepared lol

Best pencil case I've ever owned
I had been looking for a decent pencil case everywhere, and I couldn't find any in stores, so I looked on Amazon. Even here it was difficult to find what I was looking for: something with a simple design, good reviews, and didn't make me feel guilty for spending too much money on something I didn't urgently need. Even if this one was more than I was expecting to pay for, it was definitely worth it. The design is sleek and simple, and though it can hold a lot of stuff, it doesn't look bulky. The synthetic material probably won't get dirty too easily, and the small red patch is actually a nice addition--it says "designed for arrangement". Inside there are two compartments. The larger section fits most pens and pencils, though I doubt it would fit an old school wooden pencil that's full length. The smaller one is perfect to keep my corded headphones. If one uses longer pencils, not to worry because separating the two compartments is a detachable wall. Simply remove it if one needs more room. I carry about ten writing utensils in this case, but it could easily fit twenty. There is also an outside pocket where I keep my metal stylus for my iPad. Technically, I think the case is black, but because of the shiny material it looks more gray in the light. Overall, this is a very nicely designed pencil case that I would and recommend and say it's worth the price. I've looked at so many different cases, and I'm content with this one. Even though it costs $10, the price actually costs less than a lot of other cases I've seen on Amazon.

Good quality, great fit for OP-Z
So far, so good. The case seems to be of good quality. I've read some complaints about the zipper, but mine look pretty solid. I will update this review if they break. The material of the case is very durable and the threading seems like it will hold up for many years.I use mine to store an OP-Z, which is a musical device. For those who are wondering, this case is a great fit for the OP-Z. The height is a snug fit and the case is just barely longer than the device, but the edges of the case are reinforced and stiff, so the device is very well protected (including its fragile power switch). With the device inside, there's about an extra half inch of depth inside the case which you can use to store cables, manuals, or even pens! Because of the stiffness of the edges, you probably couldn't compress the case to less than about one inch in depth, so that's something to keep in mind if ultra-portability / pocketability is a concern. But I think it's a great size for travel. There's also an extra zippered pocket on the front which is very useful. There's a divider inside the case which can be detached and reattached along the side so it's out of the way.

Not the best quality but does it's job.
After a couple of weeks of use, I noticed some fraying around the edges of the product. I usually keep this pencil case in my bookbag which also contains a lot of items such as textbooks, chargers, books, etc. Yet it seemed as if every time I pulled it out of the bag, the edges became more worn. Eventually I will need to cut off the frayed threads with scissors. It could be that my bag is extremely disorganized so there was some chafing with other items but it was a bit disappointing considering this brand is known for their durability. Other than that, the pencil case does it's job of fitting and protecting all of my mechanical pencils.

Very nice but size may be an issue
Good but not great. The material is great quality. The zipper is smooth and the stitching is nice as well. I imagine it will last for years and years. I gave it 4 stars because I bought it for the detachable flap inside. I thought it would be great for pencil sharpeners, erasers and whatnot. It has a small velcro tab it attaches to on the side if you should want a small pocket on the side or you can move it across the width of the interior if you want a bigger pocket. I really like the side attachment but it is a bit small. When it is across the width, with that lovely side containment area, it won't fit my child's pencils. Now that I look closely at the pictures, I notice that while traditional pencils are included when using the side pocket style, they are missing in the closeup of the picture when the detachable flap is stretched across the interior width. Mechanical pencils are shorter and my daughter cannot use those yet. So, while it is of very nice quality, know that it won't fit a ruler or long wooden pencils.Update: It's been over 6 months. Looks like new. Truly good craftsmanship. I only wish it were longer. We have to wait until the pencils are sharpened several times before putting them in this case. Inconvient but otherwise probably the best soft pencil case I have ever bought.

A neat, good-quality case
A neat little case that is slim and perhaps marginally longer than standard cases. The moveable piece within the case is useful for deciding how you wish the case interior to be divided up. As long as you are prepared to accept the delay in delivery direct from Japan (mine was 14 days inclusive from order to arrival, but still well within that predicted), then this is a good quality buy.

Excellent EDC for calligraphy/artists pens/markers/brushes
Perfect longer-than-average case, suitable for longer-than-average refillable art pens from Rotring, generic double-ended graphics and Japanese calligraphy art markers, Herbin's refillable brushes and markers. An Internal diver allows configuration for shorter items plus sundries, an internal pockets accommodates fountain pen-size refills and the external pocket takes a compact Japanese-style 20cm/8in ruler.
