This is a MUST
If you will be working with Mplus in any capacity, this book is a must have. It gives clear examples and walks you through syntax and output. Great resource.

Should be a nice text for new researchers and graduate students
It is well written and concise as an introductory text on Sem using Mplus. Not too long or too short. Should be a nice text for new researchers and graduate students.

Pretty good book
Bought this book for an MPLUS class in my doctoral program. Still using it for my dissertation and for work. Very helpful when trying to remember how to run different analyses.

This is fine, I just think that people should be aware ...
I decided to buy this book to supplement the required text for my graduate level SEM class. I wanted something that would be a simple desk reference, and this is definitely that book. I would agree that this is a "researcher's guide"- the topics presented are only covered at a minimum and there really isn't in-depth coverage of any one topic. This is fine, I just think that people should be aware that this is a very basic book and would be a good starting point for people who are COMPLETELY new to SEM. The majority of the text is annotated output from MPlus. The annotations are a nice touch and make interpreting the output very easy. I would definitely recommend this book to people interested in learning MPlus and the basics of SEM.

Excellent introduction to SEM
Excellent intro to SEM and MPlus. Explains many of the basic (and some more advanced) concepts that are necessary to understand the MPlus guides and forum entries. Wish I had read this before starting the analysis rather than afterwards.Very good conceptual explanation of concepts without using too many mathematical formula.

I would recommend the book for those who are new to Mplus
The book is ideal for those who are new to Mplus. The author provides the foundational concepts of structural equation modelling in Mplus and how to estimate different manifest and latent structural models. The author hints on how to constrain models but this is covered at a very basic level - but this would be good for beginners. So if your new to Mplus, this would be a good option for introducing you to the basic concepts of SEM using Mplus.I always keep this book in an "arms reach" when doing my analyses in order to avoid "easy to make" mistakes. If you want to run more complex models, you may wish to complement this text with others.

but the book itself is great!
Delivery was no where near as punctual as advertised, but the book itself is great!
