I didn't know these existed. A co-worker saw them and suggested I take a look. I ordered right away and am disappointed that I didn't have them earlier. What a great product and time saver.

I knew how much of a pain wire looms are, so I tried these, they work great for the wires that I needed to cover. The wires that you need to cover need to fit into the tool. So, while you are stuffing wires and pulling this tool down the loom it is pretty easy, it just takes a min to get the hang of it, but not too bad for me at least.

trying to feed the wires through the conduit. After I got the hang of it, I looked around the neighborhood looking for untidy wires I could make look better. I have had the same neighbors for several years, so they didn't call the cops. But really, re-wiring several boat trailers and utility trailers became fun again. My next project is an entire wiring job on a 68 Cougar and then my 74 Bronco. These are worth the expense, and will make your wire jobs look tidy and professional.

Makes installing split loom much easier. Only issue is that it is a bit tight fitting onto wood in the smaller sizes

TLDR: Yes they're cheap in quality and price but the 3 people in the shop I showed what they do all 3 want this 5 piece set. Long stuff: I spent 30 minutes looming 15' of 8/2 with a flat 6 remote wire, cussing and whining. Job over asked a couple people how to loom wire easily? One person said just stick it in and move it along- I did that and it really hurt my fingers and patience. Other person with 30+ years in electirical mumbled there must be a tool- that night I found this bundle of 5. Everyone wants this kit now no matter how cheaply made it is. One hasn't used it yet and they want it. Another used the 3/8 and overloomed. If you loom you want this set. Just note there's no 1/4" included but we don't use that here.

Used smaller one and works good

These tools make it so much easier to pull wire into looms. I'm doing a large rewire project on my old Jeep, and I wanted everything tightly contained. The loom I bought from Painless is really great quality and, as a result, is really hard to get wire into! These tools are making it a piece of cake for me, and even make it easier to decide which size loom to use for a given wire bundle. If the wire bundle doesn't fit in the tool easily, it's not going to fit into the corresponding-size loom either.

This tool made the job of wire insertion so so easy ... totally recommend for work of this kind 👍🏻

A must have if you're installing a lot of wire loom. I have used the smaller ones for years and love them. Larger ones were not easily available at that time. lost one and looked to replace it and came across this set.

great produce and easy to use

I’ve installed hundreds of feet of split loom in my life, thinking I was pretty good at it. With these tools, I’m probably 10 times faster. My fingers don’t get sore, and there’s no accidental pinches or damage to the loom. Amazing!

Advertised as a 25 piece kit however only 5 arrived. Not worth the money at all and unable to return.
