I opened the box and it had an ice pack along with the chocolate.The ice pack seemed like it already melted (I don't blame them).I ate one bonbon as soon as I opened the box, and the wafer seemed a little stale.I put the entire box in the refrigerator, and the next time I had one (probably a few hours later), they were perfect, just as I remembered. Delish!

I just received these in the mail and I couldn't wait to try one. When I opened the box it smelled like a weird mildew smell. I opened one and it was melted and after taking one bite, it tasted how the box smelled. It just didn't taste right. I checked the expiration date and they have expired 7 months ago. The peanut butter wasn't creamy or how it should be. It was crumbly and pale looking and it was just awful. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

I purchased these because the ones sold at Walmart are no longer available. My in laws use to buy them for the family every Christmas and I thought my husband and brother in law would love a little blast from the past. I hate to say how disappointed we were. The peanut butter filling was blah tasting and the chocolate covering left a film in our mouths. I so wanted to love these. They’re ok but not great.

Extra star for quick arrival. They are delicious - I favor the peanut butter flavor. Price is off putting for me, when shipping is also figured. Which is too bad. I'd gift these if the pricing were more reasonable.

The candy was old and stale. Tasted very old the peanut butter was dried out.Was not at all pleased with this purchase.
