Tamiya 35135 1/35 U.S. M113 ACAV Plastic Model Kit

The kit is very straightforward no complicated instructions. All parts are well molded. The interior is accurate for the Vietnam era 113. All hatches and the ramp can be in the open or closed position. The figures are well molded and accurate. This model would lend itself well to a Vietnam diorama

The 113 Model was great, but the Soldiers seemed to be way to big for the Model. It was weird but they seemed to be about 1/3 to 1/2 size to big for the model, which is weird because they were cast on the same parts holders as the rest of the 113 parts.

I liked it was an easy kit to assemble.

The Tamiya 1/35 sale plastic kit of a US M.113 ACAV is an excellent representation for one of the most numerously manufactured armored vehicles in history. The Vietnam war was a transitional period for armored vehicle warfare, when the need for rapid movement of infantry into the battle zone was demonstrated. The kit fits together with reasonable ease, despite its many parts. In company with other 1/35 scale military vehicle kits, it is an important display item. Amazon provided very quick service at a good price. I usually go to Amazon first for my modeling needs.

Came on time and as described. Nothing seems to be missing.It did not have the shrink wrap still on it.

Like all Tamiya kits, the parts fit nice, the instructions are good and it is easy to assemble. However, like all Tamiya kits, it's not real big on fine detail and if you want a highly accurate kit, you should look elsewhere or expect to do a lot of detail up work yourself. It's an excellent kit for beginners and amateurs and can easily be the basis for an advanced modeller to make shine. The price is excellent.I bought it to be used in a 3 apc diorama of a patrol stopped along the road talking to some Vietnamese civilians and this worked excellent as a closed door model while a more detailed kit from another maker was used as an open ramp one where the interior details shine.

Little slow getting here but a good model easy to paint all parts present 4 plus stars plus good model for starters
