Amazon Basics - 30" Grey Foldable Soft Pet Carrier

Actually a lot bigger in reality than I'd imagined, the size I got is more than big enough for my working cocker, but at least she can easily stand up, turn around in it etc and I can pad it out with bedding.The bed that comes with it is very thin and flimsy and she destroyed it within a day, but she does that with all of her beds and it was the crate itself I bought the product for, not the little bed mattress. I was worried that she would tear through the fabric as she digs at the edges of her metal crate when she wants to go toilet, but despite her vigorous digging, she has yet to cause any damage.I can see into the fabric crate if I put my face close, and she can see out just fine as well. It stays cool in the heat but is easy to keep warm when it's cold as well, so very happy that she will be comfortable there.It's very sturdy - I have a habit of using it as a second nightstand/dresser by my bed and often chuck my clothes on it, and it remains held together and doesn't shown signs of straining.It is relatively easy to put up and break down once you've got the knack for it, and folds away nice and flat. It's light and portable enough that I would happily take it away on holiday with her or out on a day trip to the beach.Definitely glad I went for this one.

I was looking for a “den” for my Staffie as he is terrified of fireworks and needed a safe place to hide, rather than the back of the settee. I looked at dog dens and some were extremely expensive. I wanted something that would do the job, not too expensive and could be folded away when not in use. This fitted the bill perfectly. Our dog had not been in a crate before ( as far as we know as we rescued him 8 years ago) , however , once I set it up this morning and put his own bed inside , he hasn’t been out of it. It’s plenty big enough for a Staffie , and probably our other 2 Staffies could get in with him, would be cosy but they like that. I’ve put the flap down for him , without zipping it up so that he can feel even more secure. The big test will be this week as it’s coming up to bonfire night . I don’t know what it would be like for travelling as a determined dog could probably chew its way out, if it really wanted to. We are going to try one of our other dogs in it in our van as she gets scared travelling so this may offer her security. Overall I am very happy with this crate, and so is Dexter. It’s s light, but appears strong, easy to put up and down and a good price and worth every penny if it helps my anxious dog.

I bought this for my cat Josie. She's crated overnight, so she doesn't chew cables or jump about & upset my downstairs neighbours (she's always been crated, so she doesn't mind & often goes in the crate at bedtime, to tell me it's time for bed!).I got this to replace a smaller crate, as Josie is growing fast! The crate is the perfect size to fit her bed in there, so it's extra comfy. She has space to stand up, walk around & have toys in there (she has a teddy in there which she's has since I got her & still enough space).The crate lives on my bed, on the side i don't use. It's sturdy enough to not fall off. I've laid a towel over the top & end without a door, to insulate it a bit, as it's cold in my flat. Josie is nice & toasty in there.I haven't tried to fold it, as it's Josie's bedroom, so it stays unfolded, so she can go in there whenever she likes - I leave the door/opening rolled up during the day.If she didn't like it, she wouldn't go in it of her own accord.The little bag is good for keeping packets of treats or small toys in. It would be better if it wasn't positioned over the door though.There's a handy little clip to attach the zippers to, if your pet is an escape artist.The fabric & mesh seems sturdy & good quality, as is the zipper for the door. The zipper on the bag is of lesser quality it seems, but I don't really need to open/close that very often, so it's ok.Would I recommend this product? Yes! It's Josie approved!

Purchased the Amazon Basics Premium Folding Portable Soft Pet Crate - 76 cm, BLACK on 29 May 2022 for £50.26. This was bought initially so I could easily transport my puppy Chester to the vetsI mainly use as a travel container in my car and specifically purchased the largest pet crate/carrier that would fit the front passenger seat of my car. So that I will be still able to use when my pup is fully grown.I got my puppy used to entering and leave the carrier with dog treats, without locking him in, just to get him used to being in the carrier. Next, I locked the side entrance and left the top open and got Chester used to being put in the carrier by picking him up and putting him in with a treat or two, then would remove him and do the same again a few more times.Then I would fasten the top as well with him in with a treat that would last a few minutes. Again, I would re-open the top and lift him out and repeat a few times until he new what to expect.I then moved the empty crate to my car and then made a few short car journeys with my young puppy when very young so that he got used to being enclosed in the carrier when the vehicle was moving.Now when I pick up my dog’s lead and go out the front door he will move to the car as we regularly take trips out to parks, friends and the coast etc to go walking. Therefore, he does not associate the crate as a bad thing (going to the Vets) but as a potential good trip out (A walk in the woods, a trip to the coast or local garden centre, friends or family etc).Also used when my dog stays at friends or family to sleep in overnight. Can be used as a dog cage when travelling. Easy to store and clean.A very high-quality item, which I use nearly every day to transport my pup to walks. Made of strong high quality material. A number of pockets for doggy items to be stored and even a pocket that can be detached or attached to the carrier for additional storage. Also has strong lifting straps which sometimes can get in the way when putting the dog in the crate/carrier from the top.Initial issue was the side entrance is held up by Velcro strips, but hangs down a little therefore my pup would try and chew on the unzipped side door.My pup did not initially like to be fully enclosed in the dog carrier, and would scratch at the side. However, I moved his attention away from being locked in by giving him a treat that would last a couple of mins, which distracted him. Now he does not need the treats and settles down very quickly as he nows we are likely going out for a walk.Because of the holes in the side panels, I can put my hand near the cage and Chester can smell me nearby and will settle down.Could do with an additional opening side panel on the length of the carrier, so that when my dog gets heavier, fully grown he would be able to jump into the carrier in the car himself, without me having to lift him up and put him in from the top of the carrier. Probably only an issue due to the model of car I drive.

Amazon no longer sell this particular model new, (only used). They only sell a basic one with no extras for the same price. I bought this used like new because I like having all the extras. This travel dog crate is perfect. It well built, easy to assemble and pull down to transport. It comes with a crate mat, a padded shoulder strap to use when the crate is assembled as well as a padded hand carry strap. It also has 2 removeable zipper pouches for snacks etc… and a water bottle slot and tiny pouch with window to put pet info inside. When closed for transport it has a hand carry strap and buckle closure to hold it together. This one when compared to the basic Amazon one being sold is imo better made (I’ve seen both) and comes with extras.I like this carrier as it’s easier to break down and assemble when traveling and much lighter and easier to travel with than my dogs wire crate. If your dog is not crate trained or a chewer this is not for you. My dog loves this crate and is secure in it as the zippers lock.Two things I would change if I could (not a deal breaker). Amazon should have made extra loops on the carrier so that you could carry the crate on your shoulder when it’s folded up so you can hand carry or shoulder carry. Sometimes ur hands are full so carrying on the shoulder would be convenient. I’m gonna try to figure out a way to use the strap to shoulder carry when the crate is folded.Amazon should also use something other than regular rubber bands to hold the support arms in place when folded up. Over time that’s gonna break from continuous use. When it does I will just use Velcro ties to hold the arms.I am very impressed with buying used like new from Amazon at a cheaper price. The box was not perfect and delivery took forever (it was late) but all the contents were really like new, in good working order and it wasn’t missing any parts- I even got the instruction booklet.

Es tal cual se ve en la foto. Es muy espaciosa y trae un compartimento para guardar cosas, además se le puede quitar la estructura de metal que le da forma. El color es más beige que amarillo. Me gustó mucho pero desafortunadamente pedí un tamaño muy grande y la tuve que devolver. Buscaré si hay alguna más pequeña, porque creo que sí es de buena calidad y buen precio.

Habe die Transporttasche für einen bequemen Transport meiner Katzen in die weit gelegene Tierklinik bestellt, da wir regelmäßig hinfahren müssen. Die Größe der Tasche ist optimal, sie passt gut zwischen Vorder- und Rücksitz. Habe ein faltbares Katzenklo extra bestellt, damit es unterwegs keine Zwischenfälle gibt. Neben dem Klo ist noch genug Platz in der Tasche und meine Katzen können entspannt reisen. Durch den Metallrahmen ist die Tasche sehr stabil (auch bissl schwer). Bin sehr zufrieden und würde die Tasche nochmal kaufen wenn es sie mit Rollen gäbe. Andere Marken sind zu klein oder zu instabil.

Acheté pour y coucher ma chienne de 15 ans, épagneul breton.,pendant la nuit.Elle s'y installe avec plaisir, j'ai rajouté un bon coussin moelleux.Utilisé uniquement en intérieur,et la nuit, parce que ma chienne de 15 ans, passe son temps à errer sans but ( sénilité du chien ),et cette niche souple lui permet de se sentir en sécurité la nuit, et surtout de dormir, puisqu'elle ne peut pas sortir.Utilisé depuis plusieurs mois, sans problème.
