Atlas Quality
Solidly built, a bit shorter than I expected, but it still reaches over the harp of the grand piano in the studio. It's a lot better than any cheaper boom out there.

Neds a 2 1/2 or 3 lb counterweight
Killer looks and good construction are everything I expected from an Atlas stand. For perfect balance at all extensions, a heavier counterweight is needed. I glued an ten inch solid rod inside the tube under the counterweight but it still could have used a little more weight.
