Music for Children 1: Tune Up Your Mind

An excellent introduction to classical music for children. This is calming and seems to help them work with better focus. The presentation is not Mozart played on piano in a concert setting. A variety of instruments are used, and my only caveat is that in some way this seems to "dumb down" Mozart. But I am grateful for an opportunity to introduce great music to my god children.

Play it as the toddlers come into class.

Every song is great (although the first selection with the accordion is not my favorite). I play this in my classroom while students are working on math or handwriting. Since it has no words, it does not distract them from their concentration. Playing music actually helps some children concentrate. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Who doesn't love Mozart? I don't know if it really helps tune up kids minds, but it is nice to listen to.
