The copper wire is almost invisible and it is so easy to bend allowing you to hang the lights on anything you like and in any way you like. I have used them with some branches to make some wonderful displays which I'm leaving up permanently as they make the rooms they are in simply enchanting. If anyone wants to make something like the one over the bed, the branch behind the headboard is from a hazelnut tree as it fans out beautifully and goes flat to the wall. It is held up with a pipe bracket screwed to the wall and I set this up in about 20 minutes start to finish. It has transformed the room completely and also makes a great reading light! I really can't recommend these highly enough! The only change I could ask for is a slower moving option - it goes fast to slow, fast to slow and there is no gentle ‘slow twinkle’ option. I have them on my beadstead and it gives a pleasant glow, but I don’t think it would be healthy for the eyes to read with only those lights. **Q: Can anyone clarify the actual length from 1st to last led. description says 16ft, but seller has answered a question stating it's 33ft. need help!** A: 1st to last led is 4.95m (approx.16ft) the rest of the length is from last led to plug which is 3m, so total length is approx 8m with 4.95 of that made up of the wire and leds (not quite sure about 33ft answer as mine don't add up to that much in total), hope that makes sense. **Q: How can I buy a multi-controller as the one I received doesn't have a controller button.** A: if there isn’t a multi function button built on to the plug you insert in the wall I’d contact the seller for more advice **Q: If you use them with a smart plug, will it remember the last setting or do you have to switch it on / set it every time? Thanks** A: Hi, Once you have selected mode this won't change when lights are switched on and off, so I can't see that using a smart plug will make any difference. Sequences have a controller on the plug included which remembers the last mode selected, so all should be good however you plug it in as long as the lights are compatible with your country's electricity supply.
