Description All work is performed remotely. Upgrades will be performed on Windows 7 or Windows 8 PCs only that are currently supported by Microsoft for the upgrade. Service includes downloading the upgrade software, initiating the upgrade, monitoring the upgrade process, and testing once the upgrade is complete. Requires customer to be present near the PC during the whole upgrade for assistance to (re)connect the remote technician to the PC.  Total elapsed time for the upgrade will take from 30 to 120 minutes. Requires 20GB of hard drive free space for 32 bit operating systems and 40GB of hard drive free space for 64 bit operating systems. desertcart is not responsible for any data loss or loss of programs.  It is recommended that customers backup their data before scheduling the upgrade. Roll-back may be required if an error during the upgrade occurs. If this happens, the tech will roll-back to the previous state the make recommendation on how to correct the issue.  A 2nd upgrade attempt is included with the service.
