use these weekly and they are the perfect size for a loaf of sourdough. the liner is durable, and i have washed it many of times. elastic on the fabric has stayed strong and holds onto the basket. i make sure you put mine ontop of my stove while im baking to dry out everything and then shake them outside in between use

These are just the right size for my 500 gram flour sourdough loaves. Exactly as described and with proper care, I expect them to last a while. Very pleased, would recommend and I’ll be buying another set.

The basket is great but the cloth covers are a bit small for the basket making it hard to fit.

I enjoy sourdough baking, but for years had only toyed with the idea of using bannetons to shape my loaves. I recently ordered this set of two baskets, and found they made a remarkable difference not only in creating a more consistent shape to the loaves, but improving the overall appearance of the finished product. These bannetons are great for the budding bread baker and would probably be sturdy enough to last a number of years - there are plenty of more expensive ones out there to upgrade to, if the need arises. One word of caution, though ... be sure to wash the muslin liner by hand, then let it air dry to prevent shrinking (full disclosure, I learned that the hard way)! Yes, I would recommend this product to other bakers.
