5 Gallon Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Lid, 12.5 x 12.5 x 11.5

This Product DOES NOT hold 5 gallons. I just tested it because i just got it in and no way this holds 5 gallons, and after testing it holds ROUGHLY 18 quarts. I am not sure if the wrong one was sent or what, but I am pretty upset that it is not the complete 5 gallons as advertised. I even went and grabbed a tape measure to measure the the height and diameter to make sure I did not pour too much water in there at once. The pictures show you the TRUE inside dimensions. If you want to do the math get your cubic inches, convert to liters, and finish that off to quarts or gallons. Really upset with this one, I would return, but my wife already ripped the sticker off. Disappointing

This pot leaks if filled above where the handles are connected to the pot. Horrible design, I would not recommend this pot to anyone. Also for a five gallon this pot is very small. Their five gallon pots I have are larger allowing a true 5 gallon batch.

Very poor quality. Leaks around handle rivets. Very light and flimsy.

I bought this to use for dyeing synthetic fabric because you have to do it on a stovetop. It's a great price for such a big pot. As you can probably guess, it takes a long time to heat anything up. I don't think it will ever heat up on a lower heat, either. I had about 2 gallons of water on medium for half an hour and then put it on high after nothing was happening. Finally it boiled after 15 more minutes or so. I attached photos of the dye with and without the shirt. I'm happy with the pot!

Do not buy this pot. Upon arrival I found a mysterious black grease all over the rim of the lid and bottom of pot inside and out, Also it Leaks from the rivets that hold the handles to the kettle, as well as a very large sticker on the side of the pot that can not be easily removed without lots scrubbing and scraping after soaking in hot water and with plenty of degreaser/cleaner /goo gone. I returned it immediately.

I needed this SS stock pot for making four pounds of cheese at a time. I knew from reading the reviews that the metal was thin, and it's really quite perfect for what my use is. You can't find a new heavy duty stock pot this cheap! For me this was a steal! As for the sticker on the bottom that's hard to get off, well I accidentally burned it off by turning the wrong burner on. It came right off, though I don't really suggest that method. For the people complaining about it just barely holding 5 gallons, that's how all stock pots are and not just this brand.UPDATE 9/1/2018I'm still using this pot and loving it. It has held up extremely well for over two years now.

I bought this with absolutely no intention of cooking with it. For the price and rating, I expected it to be thin.My need for this pot was to convert it into a furnace for blacksmithing.The main reason for getting this model was the size specifications.I was very disappointed by the inaccurate size chart. It Barley registers as 10Inch tall from the promised length ratios.Still, it will suffice for my purposes.Just a warning to customers who purchase this item for its size, I would find another pot.

We use these on camping trips for heating water for large groups. They clean up okay as long as you coat the bottom with liquid soap first before to set it on the fire, or on the burner of the propane ring.
