If you own an iCarsoft scanner and you have a Mercedes that has the multisystem port in your engine compartment fuse box this is the adaptor for you. I actually accidentally unplugged my SBS module and the warning light would not reset. My mechanic wanted to charge me for an hour of labor to reset it. I bought the iCarsoft and this adaptor and after updated the scanner online to include my older model it connected, pinpointed the problem, and allowed my to reset the warning light. Since then I have fixed a couple other things just by using the diagnostic scanner with this adaptor and doing to repair myself. Much cheaper than paying a mechanic.

Works perfect with my iCarsoft scanner for my 2000 Mercedes e430.

One gets the impression that this adapter will work with various scanners, this is not the case. Only works with icarsoft MB V3, EU Pro, EU MAx , CR Pro (+) and CR max. May well also work with older icarsoft MB v2. The above was list was sent to me by icarsoft help center in Europe

Merc w208 chassis will not do a darn thing with this, simply does not work, can't connect to read even the simplest of DTC's.

If you are diagnosing automobiles. this is a Must Have item for your scanner.

When using an iCarSoft scanner on a car with a round OBDII connector, you do need this adaptor as any other brand round-Dee adaptors will fit but won't work.

Have had to send it back for a refund-just wouldn’t read on my Mercedes with my Reader. Plugged My Cheap adaptor back in , and my reader worked fine.
