I use these in my garden and on the tractor. Keeps ice well for about 5 hrs. Will Crack if dropped from high up. The wide bottom helps from tipping over on uneven surface. Been using these for over 25 yrs. Easy to clean cup portion. Lid not so much. I like the cap for the straw to keep out bugs.

My hubby loves a BIG mug always. He fills it with water and ice all day. To cut back on how frequently he has to refill, he carries a jumbo mug. This was his perfect pick.

With styrofoam cups going away, I got this to keep my soda and ice fresh as I sipped all afternoon. Works perfectly!!

I was really wanting a huge, almost obnoxiously large, container for water at the beach and this was exactly what I was wanting! I wasn't even trying to go for something that would keep ice crazy long, but the ice easily lasted all day on the beach (stayed in the shade from 10-5 and the temperature was mid to low 70s). The only downside that I found was that the twisting part of the lid (to close the top) wouldn't come off and I was too scared to break it, so I haven't been able to wash in that area. Now I kind of wish I hadn't brought it to the beach because I can tell there's sand stuck in there. :( All in all I would still recommend this product to a friend!

Great value. Very sturdy construction solid.The negative reviews are way off base! I was pleasantly surprised. If you fill it 1/3 to half way with ice cubes they will not melt for 6-7 hours. A perfect gift for the 4th Of July! One of my favorite buys. Going to order more as gifts, and no water ring on table😎I love it!Thank you!PS, The lid & straw do remove for easy cleaning, earlier review said it was not removable, enjoy!

It's something which happens over time. You get into a habit of having a favorite beverage, which mine happens to be ice water with the red, Berry flavored MIO additive. Then there is the chosen mug, a large insulated mug which is always nearby and providing service.One day, when you are taking a drink, you end up with a few drops on your shirt. Everything is carefully checked and it turns out, the mug is leaking, usually where the snap on cap seals to the mouth of the mug. My old mug did this after more than 10 years of daily use.My wife kept insisting I replace the old dripping mug and I delayed. She disapproves of me looking like I have a hole in my chin with my shirts having drip spots on them. In fact, it bothers her so much, she would require me to change my work shirts before even going out to work in the lawn, as she doesn't want me looking like someone who can't handle their colored ice water.Finally, an ultimatum was given, "Get a new mug or this one is being thrown away and you will have no choice but to get a new mug".I like the size of the larger mugs. This one is very colorful and not easily lost in a crowd. I like everything about it, it keeps the beverage cold for a long time. It keeps ice from melting down quickly. However, it drips around the base of the mug snap on lid, just like the one which I have had and used for years, which this one was purchased to replace.It doesn't leak all of the time, but when it does, its always from the base of the snap on lid. I have tried to rotate the lid and also flipped the cover from side to side to see if that impacts the occasional drip, but it still happens. I even tried swapping the lid from my old faithful mug with the new lid for this new mug, to see if that would stop the occasional drip. But the leak continued, not all of the time, just enough to leave a spot on the front of my shirt.It's not enough of a leak to get you wet, just enough to leave drops on your clean shirt and make other's wonder what you are drinking.......Plus the red colored water stains whatever it lands on. I even had one person ask me if I had a nose bleed as she saw red spots on the front center of my shirt.This mug does so many things well. It's attractive, maintains the temperature of the beverage, is easy to handle for those who are used to large volume mugs. It's just that annoying drip every so often which keeps this from getting a 5 star rating. I checked the lid and mug for some type of imperfection in the molding of the mug, lid or cover and found nothing.I had used the mug a few times before the drips began, so I didn't bother to return it. Perhaps I should have sent it back. But its one of those items which you don't expect to have any problems with, because its simple.I wish I could give this mug a top rating, because there is so much about it which I like. But in order to be a 5 star hero, it would have to have no runs, no drips and cause no errors. The occasional drip on the front of the shirt prevents this mug from being all All Star.Maybe next season.......
