If you are wondering whether this is sturdy enough for a proper single bed while still being easy to deal with, yes. The folding design is the useful bit because it avoids the usual battle of building a bed frame from a pile of parts. Once opened out it feels solid, and the space underneath is genuinely handy for storage boxes, spare bedding or things you want out of the way. That matters in a smaller room because a bed can take over the whole space if the frame is badly designed. My tip would be to position it where you want it before putting the mattress on, then use the underbed space straight away. Practical, strong and very useful. Five stars.

I bought this for when my teenage granddaughter comes to stay, it's excellent!!! I can not fault it in any way. It comes in either white or black, single or double, poss king too but not 100% sure. I chose a black single. You Literally take it out the box and fold the legs down, no tools etc needed (a small child could put it up in seconds) put a single mattress on, that's it! Single bed within a few seconds! Easy to fold back down and store either under your bed or back of the wardrobe until next time. So solid and comfortable, can also be used as an everyday bed or just a quick set up for unexpected visitors. Also has plenty of room underneath to perhaps fit your guests suitcase etc. (See pic) It doesn't have a headboard but that doesn't matter. I cannot praise this high enough. Super quick delivery too! 😊

The "extra strong" Zinus folding bed frame that I wanted had a 6 month delivery lead time on Amazon. Order in March and expected delivery would be September! Having just moved and disposed of my old beds I wanted a strong folding bed frame to make delivery and future moves easier. This 2nd choice Zinus folding bed frame still shows it can cope with 350kg weight so went for it. I was a little skeptical, especially when Amazon did an offer for it at just under £50 instead of the normal £70+. I knew I could return it if not happy. It arrived in a narrow box and was easy to carry upstairs. It slides out of the box, folded. Just unfold it and pull up the legs until it clicks into place and there you have it, a bed frame in under a minute from when taken out of the box! I was well impressed. I bought a reasonably heavy thick (25cm) quality mattress (Simba Hybrid) and put it on the bed frame. Sat on it, all OK, and slept on it, still OK and have been doing so for 2 weeks now and am well pleased. I am 13 stone 7lbs in weight and have no hesitation in recommending this Zinus bedframe. The bedframe was bought as my regular sleeping bed and I am well pleased. In the unlikely event of a problem with this frame I shall update this review. ADDITIONAL COMMENT 30/4/24. Still impressed with bed frame. I have noted comments from some saying "suitable for a child" and "can hear metals sounds as they move". I am 6 feet 2 inch tall and weigh 13 stone 7 lbs and have never heard any sounds from the frame at all. I have a Simba 25cm deep Hybrid mattress on top of the frame. It is fairly heavy. Perhaps with a thin depth mattress and a heavy person then perhaps the experience is different. But my experience is the Zinus frame is perfect, stays rigid on the floor and all I feel is the thick Simba mattress on top and no metal sounds and is definitely suitable for adults, after all the frame is designed to take up to 350kg. I say give the Zinus bed frame a try, you can always return it if you find it unsuitable........but like many reviewers and myself........I think you will keep it!

The single bed frame has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and design. Good solution for bedrooms that lack space. It’s light, easy to unfold and generally well built. I wanted a good amount of space underneath and this has the right amount of space without it being tall and unstable. One thing I was worried about was the mattress sliding about but it stays put. The only negative which I can say would be that if you’re coming from a wooden bed like I was, getting a thicker mattress is a must as it’s quite uncomfortable with a thin one, I have a new one coming soon and hopefully should improve the comfort but I kind of knew that would be the case with this. Overall, excellent product.

Quick to put up and very sturdy. It will also fold flat for storage under the couch when we are done with it. It would have been great if there was some way of securing the mattress as it does slide about a bit over time but it isn't a daily problem and we just readjust once a fortnight or so.

Around 85KG male, been using it daily since Feb of 24, and absolutely no issues with it. Well worth the price. No squeaks, odd noises, balance issues, or anything, it's just been a sturdy, solid, reliable bed. I've only used it for sleeping, so I can't vouch for it's reliability if you use it for anything other. Only issue I have maybe is that the lack of mattress support made the mattress slip a little at first, but it's settled down since. To be fair, I had to really, really nitpick to find that downside.
