Labeled as a bike seat cable, but it works great as a way to secure your front wheel when you use a D-lock or folding lock. Sure, it's super thin and can be cut, but why go to the trouble to steal just the front tire? This way the wheel won't "walk" because it has a quick release. This adds just the amount of peace-of-mind I want for my lock-up system. Combined with my folding lock in the picture, this is a light, easy, fast way to cover both wheels and frame when I need to leave the bike alone for more than a minute.

Works as advertised. Not theft-proof, but hopefully enough to encourage a would-b thief to steal some else's instead, LOL. Decent graphical instructions that you can figure out if you stare at them with a magnifying glass long enough, and have previous experience with these cables. Otherwise, you may end up attaching the cable in a manner that renders it useless. But a would-be thief might not look at your cable carefully enough to figure out you goofed. In any event, it's just what I needed.

Perfect for what I want it for. I use this as a leash when I check handguns in my luggage. Slip it through the inside metal guides for the roller handles, and lock it to my gun case. Gives me a bit of extra security knowing my bag can't be opened and the gun case simply taken out. Sure, they can steal the whole piece of luggage, but that's another case. I also use it to secure my gun case to the frame of my car seat when there's a place I can't bring it. Not going to stop a determined thief, but prevents a quick removal. I'd recommend it.

And all honesty this wouldn't do anything to prevent a determined thief however it gives me a little piece of mind having attached to my seat. I suppose it but prevent hold them from having a random thought of grabbing my seat and throwing it. Lol 😂

This product doesn't actually keep your bicycle seat from getting stolen, but works well as a deterrent. It would be very difficult to put it on in such a way that there were no spots vulnerable to being cut, and however you put it on, you just have to reverse that process to take it off. It may require tools, but thieves generally have tools. However it is very difficult and time consuming to put it on, as well as to take it off in the reverse manner. So unless you have a tool to cut it with, it isn't going to be worth someone's time to steal your seat - hopefully! These cords are inexpensive, and definitely better than nothing! This particular cord isn't much different from any other.

I normally run a U-lock and now use this to keep my seat safe (too many bike seat thefts on bike forums). This will in no way withstand any bolt cutters, but I’m hoping most of the people walking around with bolt cutters are looking for a whole bike, and opportunistic thieves won’t be able to unlatch my seat and steal. Unfortunately, nothing makes your bike unstealable, but you can ward off opportunistic thieves and hopefully make your bike less of a target to professional thieves. This cable adds virtually no weight to carry and gives me the peace of mind that my bike seat will be there when I get back. Also, in no way should you ever use this as your main bike lock, a bolt cutter will go through this with one snip and your bike is gone. Pair this with a thick chain or u-lock, any bike lock under $20 dollars more than likely isn’t adding too much security to your bike.

Es bastante más corto y delgado de lo que parece en la foto, pero cumple su función (que no te roben el asiento de la bici). I'm using this cable to secure my tailgate pad to my truck and it works perfectly. I struggled to find a cable small, and strong, enough that could also be routed through the grommet on the tailgate pad and linked to my trucks bed hooks. This one fits the bill perfectly!

This cable is just the right length to reach from my seat to where I send my lock though the frame of my bike. This makes it light and easy to store when not is use.
