CRAFTSMAN Socket, Metric, 1/2-Inch Drive, 30mm, 12-Point (CMMT12088)

Was working on a car and needed this size socket which I didn't have. Saw this Craftsman brand for a good price so got it. I like Craftsman for the lifetime warranty and can exchange it locally if something ever happens. Seems heavy duty, used with cordless impact wrench with no issues, works great.

I bought this to remove my wheel nut during a CV axle replacement. It worked perfectly. Craftsman tools have always been reliable and this one is no different. It fit tight around the nut, so it did not slip. This is a must have if you do your own mechanic work.

What can I say? It’s a socket and it’s the size I ordered.

I ended up returning the socket without actually using it but this was only because I needed a deep instead of shallow 30mm socket to do the job I needed it for. That being said it appeared to be quality made and made with steel and not some lightweight composite metal so I assume it is as durable as any other brands socket. The price was good and based on my experience I would be willing to buy more sockets or tools in general from these guys in the future if/when the need arises.
