These last a long time!
I have has these umbrellas for a long time. The last one I bought lasted for ten years. It was still going strong when I lost it. It is well worth the price. They are sturdy and do resist fairly high winds.

Defective Umbrella
What a disappointment! I've used an Eddie Bauer umbrella for years and loved it. It finally broke and I ordered this one as a replacement. The umbrella I received was defective; the open/close button was jammed right out of the box. The look and feel of this umbrella was not as nice as my older Eddie Bauer umbrella. Eddie Bauer used to make beautiful umbrellas in interesting colors and prints; the new umbrellas do not open/close as smoothly and come in drab colors. I returned this product for a refund.
